  6. Cast away the castaway – let go of fear, tomorrow, and sorrow.

  7. Cast all your fears upon Him. Let he without sin cast the first stone. Cast reminds me of the movie castaway with Tom Hanks. A cast is also what doctors use to repair broken limbs. Cast is also a word used to describe a group of people that play in a movie.

  8. The closer you get to the light, the larger your shadow is cast…
as you try so hard to be close to the goodness of it, the shadow behind you stares back.

  9. Cast far beyond the farthest cloud of stars in the dark tableau above them, Rothstein-Hotchkiss1012 sparkled like a rare gem. After lifetimes of exhaustive searching, they’d found it-an Earthlike planet revolving around a yellow sun capable of sustaining life. And a new age of exploration had begun.

Barry pulled his face away from the eyepiece of the telescope and walked along the long, spiraling ramp, down towards the street below the lookout. Private ventures were already planning launches of expeditions to the planet, known to the masses as Longworld because of it’s great distance from Earth and it’s pronounced oblong shape, but he wondered what that meant for the masses who would be left on Earth. It seemed only that the wealthy would get another playground, a vacation getaway from the poor, struggling every men who would only observe the New World, but never set foot on it.

  13. I really want to be part of a cast one day, preferably for some action movie. Especially if I get to be the villain. The villains are so cool, they get all the awesome theme songs and outfits. They also get to play with magic, fire, and get to kill people! Its sounds really fun to me to be on a movie cast.

  14. That’s an interesting one. Most people think of the weather. Others think of Harry Potter, I even imagine some random WoW fans here and there. What does cast mean for me? Well, I’m taken back to the days when I lived in North Carolina. I had an uncle who was quite the fisherman, he would always take me out to a lake to cast a line. So there, that’s what cast mean’s to me.

  15. I was an outcast. Why? Because I was half cast. There’s no place in this world for half cast’s, or so it seems anyway. You’re treated differently and put into a separate ‘cast’. A pity really. Why can’t we all belong to the same ‘cast’? Will someone from another ‘cast’ tell me?

  16. ” let the perfect man cast the first stone” it’s a quote from the bible. of course, i’m paraphrasing, but it was something like that. jesus said it when people wanted to stone a woman to death for her sins. it’s true, no one can judge anyone else because the person who’s doing the judging is imperfect as well.

  17. I was cast as a paraplegia and I thought that was stupid because I can walk. What was I supposed to do act. I am not an actor than why was I there in the first place. I had time to kill. killing time is not a crime so what. Killing time got me a role that I couldn’t possibly do

  23. The dark, hooded figure cast a dark shadow. Every time I shifted my weight in attempt to get a look at his face, he shuffled behind a wall. I couldn’t be certain he was a he, but most dark hooded figures lurking in the dark were male. At least that’s what I assumed, I didn’t know much about this situation, and it scared me.

  24. the incessant joy which can be found within a single movement of the arm, delving a single droplet of lead into the intensity of the ocean. a fish may bite, may not, but matter not, as the fun derives not from the outcome, but the doing.

  25. and it’s gone,
    my life is gone, I
wondered if i had thrown wrong.
    perhaps by some misfortune, I
    have lost and was
    meant to win instead.
    yet I am glad,
    for the moment before
    they landed,
    I was happy

  26. It was always a cast of thousands or so it seemed at Greg Falvo’s funeral home in Mt Washington PA where all the Irish dead had to make room for the occasional Italian on the ladder to heaven where no one would ever find happiness like they had known in 1956 Pittsburgh.

  30. A cast is any group of people bound together for a purpose. To please the audience. To please someone, somewhere, for some reason. I suppose each individual is their own cast. Everybody wants someone to take notice of them. Each trait, every aspect of personality a person possesses could be a member of a cast. Together that cast is putting on a show to catch someone’s eye. And perhaps once that happens, a new member of the cast will be added to the production.

  31. The cast of your life is filled with people who hurt, love and affect you in many ways. The cast is not decided by you; they’re brought into your life in ways you can’t control.

  35. These people were the cast in the stage production known as my life. My screwed up older friends inadvertently taught me how to stay away from drama all the while being drenched in it themselves. My sister came off as usually annoying and unnecessary, but ice cream runs and movie nights and long talks proved otherwise. And my old best friends who had always been there no matter what. Through the ugly preteen stage and the growing out of Barbies and kickball, right into high school and stress and heartbreak. Back then, we didn’t know how good we had it.

  38. cast upon a spell, a look of happiness or envy or whatever emotion you have. reminds me a lot of harry potter spells but still is a powerful word in novels and we can also cast love on someone, seems like a possessive or influencing word. i wanna cast this ray of light on you.

  39. i was casted for the play in about 2 seconds, but the wait to hear if i actually made it seemed like centuries. i wanted the spot so badly, that i was depressed for days when they hadn’t called. finally, days later, and many tears shedded later, they called back, saying that i actually had gotten it. tears of jubilation surronded my face, in stead of tears of actual sadness. that was the best day of my life.
