  23. cash, cash. why does it have such a power? I often speculate that if only we returned kind deeds with kind deeds, there would be no need for money. we would all supply clothes, food, shelter, for each other, for the simple act of giving and receiving out of the humane core of our hearts.

  32. Well… wish I had more of it!
I just had a repair guy come by and state that my roof leak may need to be covered by insurance.
    There goes my tax return!
I was hoping to get new windows. So.. I wait another year, I guess. I’m gonna have to use the tax money for the deductible to do the repairs. At least my daughter’s room won’t leak anymore. So I should be happy for that, I guess. Although… the few items I wanted to do are gonna have to wait. So much for getting back on a motorcycle by next summer.
Who knows? Maybe my refereeing will pick up and the cash will start flowing in.

  39. Cash has always been a part of my life that I never had a comfortable time with. It seems, like with most people, to have an obnoxious way of not being around when I really need it. Of course, it’s always there when I have unimportant things to spend it on.
