  11. I took a bow, the curtains closed and that was the end. I would never dance again.
    At the time it felt like my life was at a close, but really, that was just the end of the first chapter of my unwritten life. Now, the whole world is there for me to discover all its wonders and beauties.

    Really, who am I kidding?
    I hate life now. I feel empty and… I can’t even explain just how much I would rather have died right then and there. It wouldn’t have made a difference since losing the stage was like drawing my last breath.
