“Boom!” The sound shook the windows and the few who didn’t hit the floor crouched or grabbed onto whatever was closest to them, be it a person or object. The sound of sirens came soon after but it didn’t make anyone at the party feel any better. This was supposed to be a celebration now it was filled with apprehension and nervous tension.
