  1. Belief is founded in an inability to prove what may or may not exist. It is possible for beliefs to eventually be proven fact or fiction. Beliefs are a fundamental part of the human condition, although it is unlikely belief is shared by nonsentient entities. Beliefs act to explain the unexplainable and provide a sense of control over the existing world which is fundamentally beyond our control.

  7. this is something that you know deep down is true, you feel it’s true, you know it’s true. it is fact in your soul. belief means that its yours and no one elses, it’s a completely original thing that you cling too. someone else may cling to it to, but then it’s theirs and your belief is still yours

Without belief we cannot live in this world. it is dangerous to believe all. but it is dangerous not to believe anybody.Self confidence is the first step for a strong belief. if we dont have belief in ourselves we cannot achieve anything in our life. The net thing is, the world has seen many impossible things done only by a strong belief that it can be done. if you dont have belief to do it, Somebody is going to achieve the same thing.

  12. I like to believe everything because say. I know i shouldn’t but it is part of my beliefs to think that everyone is telling the truth. I trust people way too easily but I guess thats because I believe that since I am telling the truth, so are others- which is not always true.

  13. I finally started believing in going my own way. I needed things to hit me and roll off as easily as droplets of water. I didn’t want anything to hurt, and I didn’t want to care. I wanted to run off with a smile on my face because no one’s affairs mattered to me, simply because I was me. And I was alive.

  22. Belief in a higher power/afterlife has always been something I’ve had a hard time comprehending. For me, without concrete proof, I can’t believe in anything. I don’t like that some religions promote comforting lies over facts.

  24. The important thing for magic is not to believe, but to know. To know for a fact, deep-down-hard-headed-know-in-your-gut that this cup, for instance, will turn into a small slice of cheese. That you’re really a walrus, and that you should therefore look like one. That the cat in front of you is a man in disguise.
    If you can get the knowing down, you’re more than halfway there.

  25. I hate religion, for the reason that it encourages people to believe in something that isn’t provable or plausible. I’d rather be surrounded by facts than comforting lies. I don’t understand religions like Christianity because of this.

  29. The belief in gods was a curious thing, tam thought. There was always an excuse, always a reason. Always some way that the god came out on top. It was never His fault, it was always humans’. Must have been a great job.
    Which was why he was surprised, when he became one, that it was not. On the whole, he decided he’d rather go golfing.

  33. religion, something that i feel strongly about or that i follow. to have belief is to think that an opinion or yours is right or correct regardless of what others think. it is an idea or thought that is supposed to come natural to you. something that you are born with and that you feel strongly about.

  36. to me belief is more like “beliebe” (The verb!) because i’m a belieber and i beliebe in Justin Bieber. He’s my hero, my inspiration. The one I think about when I go to sleep and the one who makes me smile when i wake up. So…yeah that’s pretty much it. I don’t even know why i’m writting this. lol what a waste of my time.

  37. i believe in god. many people do. many people don’t. my brother doesn’t. and if he were typing right now he’d right soo much stuff abot belief. but too bad i don’t have much to say. i just believe in god. that’s it. i don’t go to church on a daily basis but i do love god. a lot.

  39. i think that beliefs are important when shaping ones self. Without beliefs you cannot make choices based upon how you feel. They are like morals, and to be a good person in my opinion and too make good choices you have to stick to your beliefs and morals.
