  6. His abilities were rather limited after the accident. It was rather unfortunate, but we get dealt bad cards from time to time. I tried telling him it would get better, that one day the sun would shine again. But he wouldn’t listen. He was caught up in his own place.

It was as if a carnal urge overtook both the bones and the blood, and occasionally, men who eyed her fell forward and frothed at the mouth and were overtaken by lust. We weren’t sure if it was her beauty, or if she was a bona fide sorceress casting malicious spells.
