The way she looks at you, it was easy to convince yourself that she couldn't see. She had a way of making her eyes go inextricably blank, a way of gazing just slightly over the top of your head. The way she looked at you was like that of a blind person.

He inculcated her, subtly, without even meaning to. Just as he spoke, the words poured into her deep subconscious and their were those few precious terms that she would keep and remember and use forever.Once, she thought about it; how it must be to hear your own words come up in the voice of someone else. It was like the way she trained Xion--something unintentional but so deep, so intense, so lasting. And yet you wouldn't know it just by looking at him.

She was in the corner of her room, the one blackened, burned by her actions. Her fingers gliding along the wood floor, black dust on her fingertips. Her eyes were the same burnt coal black. I could see the burns on her arm, equally scarred, crawling up and down her arms, riddling her skin. The fire was long gone, no longer a threat, but I could see it in her eyes.
