It is hard to grasp it, to hold it close. You wish to own it and to claim it before it claims you, but instead you are left feeling helpless and withdrawn, while the entirety of your life is consumed by the thing you fear and love the most.
It floated by, but no one seemed to notice. It was what was on the ground that had managed to grab all of their attention.
