All they wanted to do was to civilize my people. What they didn't understand though was that we didn't want to be civilized by them. We wanted to retain our beliefs and overall sense of chaos. We liked it that way, and it's what worked for us. They should just leave me and my people alone.
As soon as I felt the soft breeze of the autumn air softly caress my face, I felt alive. More alive than I've ever been before. The feeling of freedom, from beating the sickness that has plagued me for so long, enabling me to finally go out into the open air. It makes me feel alive.
