she kept batting her lashes, in the annoying way that girls do when they are trying to flirt. i just rolled my eyes, she was shameless. Seriously, who else would flirt with this many people in one night? WOW.
she couldn't see to the bottom of the lake, so it must of been really deep. she sucked in a deep breath and plunged down feet first, trying to find the bottom. a few seconds later she emerged, shivering and unsuccessful. she pushed her wet hair out of her eyes and frantically looked around, trying to find something to be able to grab onto. she knew the water was too cold, and it was only a matter of time before she would lose the muscle power needed to keep her body above the water.
