  1. wow. so many things can have depth. water has a certain depth. one’s vision has a depth, a picture has depth. a story has depth, or at least the good ones do. erm, submarines are destroyed by depth charges. this response has very little depth.

  16. she couldn’t see to the bottom of the lake, so it must of been really deep. she sucked in a deep breath and plunged down feet first, trying to find the bottom. a few seconds later she emerged, shivering and unsuccessful. she pushed her wet hair out of her eyes and frantically looked around, trying to find something to be able to grab onto. she knew the water was too cold, and it was only a matter of time before she would lose the muscle power needed to keep her body above the water.

  20. depth is how much detail you wish to go into about something, its either an intense thought or a whimsical thought, no matter what the topic, it’s all about the amount of detail you put into it. this is depth.

  21. like in an ocean, the depth is immeasurable to normal people. experts can find it though. but in love, it’s just the opposite. no expert can measure the depth of your love- no one can but you and your lover. that depth is the greatest.

  27. In English class, we dig into the depths of a novel, highlighters, dog-earred pages, and all, prepared at any moment, to dive into the obscurest of connotations. When I think about it, all I really do like about English is the flat and icy surface of the text. When I think about it, all I really like to do is skate without worry of the underlying themes of what may or may not symbolize the crucifixion of Jesus, the superficiality of man, etc.

  30. there is no depth in a circle. it lays flat on the paper, staring up at you. you have to measure it, find the radius and diameter. 3.14159 is the equation. it has no ending. no depth.

  31. ocean the deep abyss that most never come out of. doomed to lay there still lifeless all alone forever. never able to get out because it is so deep. forced to travel the dark DEPTHS of the ocean forevere on and on because they were curious about the undiscover area and what lyes there just waiting to be discovered by someone. it is a mysterious, dark abyss, that knowone will ever know what is down there

  34. Depth is a tricky sort of thing, because people want to appear deep to others, but those who want it more than everyone else–the people who really, really try to be deep–often come off as shallow. Huh, that last sentence was kinda deep. I think.
