  2. “Hey, I’m Sam.” I shook hands with the new kid that had just entered out class today. I know what it’s like to be the new kid, so not fun. I wanted to give him a sort of….connection feeling. As soon as out hands shook, we were connected.

  4. together… happy. to be connected means to have friends, to have people you can talk to.. it also can mean that you have people who are going to help you find a job or a good place to spend you life… connect you into a good place to be… or you can connect other people to other people.

I need more than just a quick message. I need a hug, a kiss, the chance to see their face. But how will they know if all I do is give them a poke?

  8. With all this social networking, it seems like everyone is connected. I talk to my best friends every day on Facebook and Skype. I’m updated on my friends’ lives via Twitter, so it feels like I never miss a beat. But sometimes I wish I had the courage to just pick up the phone and dial…

  11. i don’t really feel connected, not really no. i’m wondering if i ever really did? what was it with those bonds, those strings that kept people attached to oneanother? those things that i didn’t really know i could feel until i faced the reflections in other people’s mirrors and saw the lack of my own.

  19. i feel super connected to the world around me, i write for magazines, write for myself, listen, and think. I do everything I can to stay connected. Also – that song from the 80’s “connected” that is now stuck in my head. Thank you for that.

  20. My school, bucknell is really cool because it has a great alumni association that allowas me to be connected with people from my school and get jkobs/opportunities. I like to stay onnected and keep up with what is new, which is why i love my computer. connections hopefully will help my music career someday

  24. a friendship is a connection, as well as every type of relationship. you feel connected with someone if they have common thoughts and beliefs. in order to have a strong bond, connection is key. if you feel connected to things then you feel more comfortable around them.

  26. i feel so connected to some people. connection is what brings us together in the end, doesn’t matter how. and the weird thing is that sometimes you connect to really strange people, people you’d never think you’d get along with. but that’s the mystery of it all i suppose… crazy isn’t it? now the worse part is when you really connect with someone and they fuck you over. but i love connections anyways.

  30. I suppose this ought to refer to close relations, the feeling of connectedness I have with my daughters who love miles away. But my first thought was about technology – phones, the internet, the means of connection rather than the feeling that it engenders. May need to think about that.

  31. i am connected to the earth to my family, to my friends and to everyone around me. i am connected my mother as if i was a chunk taken from her side and watered to grow like a flower in her garden. she cared for me, nurtured me, made feel safe, strong and as though i was capable of anything. i know how;s she’s feeling without being around her and she knows the same for me.
