  11. true happiness is having wings, as ben harper said in a song. it’s not my favorite song of his. i tend to think that ben harper is a nice songwriter who doesn’t have the chops to make it on mainstream radio. anyway, i once wrote a poem on the colorado bridge about my desire to fly. the very next song that came on the radio in my car was learn to fly by the foo fighters. crazy, huh?

  13. paul mccartney was the best beatle. i do have some hippie tendencies that tell me otherwise (how could you not love john lennon), but mccartney singlehandedly masterminded abbey road, one of the greatest albums of all time, and certainly their greatest. his follow up, however, wings? not that great in comparison. pretty poor actually.

  29. I’ve got wings was the thought on my mind when I woke up—though I was clearly mistaken. I didn’t know what caused this disorientation but it lasted a while, I spent an hour and a half trying to flex wings that where not there—-they ached the be spread but they didn’t even exist.
