I tried to budge, torquing my arms and straining to breathe. I came to the undeniable conclusion — after twenty minutes of struggling — that we were bound together.

together is a word that consists of the letters t, o, g,e, h and r. The meaning of this word is with something. When people are in a relationship, they are usually together…

We’ll be together forever. Take my hand and i’ll take you to our spot at the beach. The wind, the sand, the waves and your velvet skin is all i need. It needn’t be anything else. Our special and unique love will keep us together forever.
By Sasha on 09.17.2012
I was nothing without him. It was as thought it was never a me, it was an us. If we weren’t together, I felt as though I was an empty, hollow shell of what I possibly could be. There was never anything more than the thought of his hand on mine, the sound of his laugh, the feeling of his lips caressing my neck.

my friend and I walked along the beach. We watched the foam and water crash upon the shoreline in the cold winter breeze. As we stood shoulder to shoulder we felt more close to each other than ever before.

Never apart. But not always together. It’s nice but when is too much? Does it help?

It had always been this way, just the two of them. At least it seemed like always. Five years was a long time, when every few days you lost someone you loved. This never-ending battle had been going on longer than anyone could remember and claimed countless lives, and they always expected they’d be next.

The marriage of Chuck and Charlene ended on game night. They’d chosen the game Clue which was clearly a mistake. Chuck, cocky as ever, clinked his can of Coors with Char’s chardonnay and made his accusation: Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the Candlestick!
Charlene’s spirit crumbled. Dumb cluck, she thought. He can’t even put two and two together. Clue-less!
She filed for divorce the next morning.

Describing two things that were apart at one time, and what is now an improvement; basically makes everything better, if you are describing events and more than one person.

We walked together down the dusty road. He carried the two-year old, I carried the infant. We were starving. How had it come to this?

Together, or alone. I prefer alone mos of the time. Or least that’s how I end up. Too many cooks spoil the broth, you know. Of course, one can’t always be alone; there are times when you have to work together. Like playing basketball, for instance.

held over the chasm of the 16th floor
The window creeped opened by fingers
Smaller than the lock, until, hanging
Over the sill, he calls out love
Love, falling in, love falling in

Together again. That’s what we were. That’s what we’d been. Four years going strong. Together again. Our favorite song. Finally all the tears have stopped falling. So many words to say to her. So many things I should do. To show her how I truly feel, just to let her know. And finally we’re together again.

Together…gods and godesses I wish we could be together, but NO! It’s 2000 miles of separation and sure nowadays you can phone, email, post letters, Skype, but what’s all that to feeling his hand in mine or his lips on my forehead? What’s all that to laying next to him as we watch a movie or going to bed and hearing his breathing in the dark? Nothing! That’s what it bloody is! NOTHING!
By Mairead URL on 09.17.2012
We live together. Breathe together. So close, it’s like we are one. The sheets conceal our thoughts as we bury ourselves deeper and deeper into the bed. It is like a waterfall crashing down on our sweet sweet bodies. Together we are one. It s inconceivable to be apart. It is undone. Without you, I am nothing. Not a human, not an animal, nothing. We must be together. Forever and always, together, my love. We need to stick through it all. There can’t be me and you, it must be us, always, never apart.
By Erin on 09.17.2012
I walked together with him into the woods, nails tracing, guiding gently along the flesh of his muscled shoulder. He seemed eager to please me, as any prey does. As the tangled vines crept across the view of the sun, secluding us alone once more, I turned to face him with a venomous grin. He grinned back, albeit more stupidly- the venom had done its job.

Together we will explore. Together we will accomplish. I can’t think of anything else to do in this world other than be together. If we can’t be together then the strings holding everything in my mind together will collapse. Together, we will be.

together we stand
united we fall
until the end of our days our hearts beat as one
we sing as one
we stand up as one
no one dies alone
no one is left alone…
and we fight together until the very end

Together is a weird word. To. Get. Her. To get with her. To get her a present. To get her in bed. To get her to like you. To get her to be happy. To get her to be happy with you when all she really wants is out.

Together forever. They tried to carve it on a tree, but they couldn’t carve it. They tried to paint it on the car, but it kept running off. They tried to seal it with a kiss, but the kiss was dry and without feeling. They said together forever, but they didn’t know what it meant.

People are always busy doing things. Things that we can’t even sure why we have to do. We somehow forget to connect. We forget that we are living in the world that all of us must gather. Individualism forces us unconciously to focus on one’s own business, but is that a good way of living? A good way where we hardly being together? Together is such a luxury concept nowadays.

Together. We are together. The whole of humanity. Sometimes I think about how awesome that is whether I like it our not. It’s great to be able to say that you are with someone or something. Comforting, really.
By Clementine on 09.17.2012
Together we stand tall, or together we both fall. It’s one or the other, really. Some are bonded forever, sticking together through thick and thin and supporting each others growth. But we aren’t like that. We stick together only so we don’t have to reach as far to knife the other in the back. And I can’t take it.

when you and i are together nothing else should be present but when wonders fly through space its not easy to forgive yourself in the flesh of human and earth we are dragged by an unknown force.

And then the city was alight.
Reduced to nothing, burning away.
Then sparkling, glowing, reborn.
And you and I, together, above it all.
We had our wings, our stellar bodies, and you smiled.
Too weak to stand, we held each other,
never wanting to let go again.
You were crying and smiling, as clear as the light.
I’ll never forget the conviction in your voice.
“I can’t wait until I finally see you.”
Whatever the future holds,
As long as I remember this truth,
I will never fall.
We will all see the stars again.

together we become more than the shells we were born in. together we stumble, together we smile, together we begin to build the foundations of this odd life we lead. eventually, together we cry and together we fight. not because we want to. because we need to. because we are the young generation. and together we can change it all.

So dark, but I didn’t slow down. He was everywhere. In the bushes as my lights caught the dark green leaves. Stood watching me as I passed the old mill at the end of the road. I wanted him there, but the fact was he was gone.

Together forever, we interlock hands and feel our hearts beating together.
Together, we’re the unstoppable duo of the playground.
Together, we hate each other but we really do make a good team.
Together, we lay in the grass and watch the clouds dance by.
Together, there are so many pairs of us.

Even as I write these words, that is what we are. Together. In every sense and aspect. She’s lying next to me in bed. Resting her weary soul in sleep. I’m brushing her hair and the back of her head with my fingers and I feel utterly complete. I reminisce sitting here, from the way we made love a few hours ago to how her eyes glistened when she she looked at me right before she kissed me for the very first time. So far, it has been an uneasy road. But she has held my hand and her own through it all. And I’ve resurrected myself in her image. I am both proud and humbled by the fact that I am survived by her. I am a better person for knowing her. Yes, love like this still exists, The kind of overbearing, coveting, smothering and irrationally affectionate love. The kind of love that is frowned upon now. The kind of love that has become desensitized to a mere myth and ridiculed out of every norm. But that’s the kind of love we have sheltered each other in. That love, which tears down every wall and leaves you barren and vulnerable to her. That rips open your ribcage and exposes your still beating heart to her. The kind of love that has been discouraged for the very fact that it allows her to cripple you in an instant, purely for the passion with which love. Why do it then? Why indeed? The reason I love her with undying vehemence is because the very second I asked myself that very why, every single inch of me resonated with “why not?” It is then that I knew, regardless of whether she holds steadfast or falters, she is and will always be worth it.
