Working on my novel. Working on my paintings. Working on some furniture and home design projects. Working at a job where I am underpaid and undervalued. This is my station. Life is good.

The black smoke billowed past me as I ran to catch the train. It left swiftly as my feet stumbled and I fell, but I looked up to find him watching me. As he helped me up, I embraced him and cried, “I’m sorry. Please don’t leave.”

Waiting for the train in the rain and not moving whilst a breeze gusts by.

I live next to a train station.
I hear the trains come and go, all day all night.
They shake the ground.
When people visit, they ask if it bothers me.
Truthfully? I don’t notice anymore.
You can get used to anything if you’re around it enough.

The silhouette of a thin asian man emerged through the fog at the station. His eyes frowned like a happy sigh, no joy emanated from him. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you” he shivered. “Was that the last train you jumped off?”

From one station to next, life is just another train ride. Just like skipping from one site to another on stumble upon. That’s it. As nihlistic as I may sound, I guess this can be a pretty liberating way of looking at life.

The train pulled up at the station. I felt a pang of sadness, suddenly. I didn’t think much of it before, but now I realised that this would be my last time in this area. So many memories, good and bad. It had helped shape who I am today, really. All the drama that goes on at a train station, can prepare you for quite a lot in life. More than one would expect…

i use to play in kindergarden at certain “stations” . You would be allowed to color and play games with friends. it’s also a place where you could be picked up by a train at a train station.

A station is place where people can access transport facilities, usually a train. Trains are formed of many carriages with seats, for passengers to sit upon whilst they travel to their destination. Old trains go Choo Choo ;>

The station wasn’t like any train stop she had ever seen before. The vehicles coming in to the bays were more like ships, but without sails or hulls. Sky ships? She didn’t know, but the way they moved gracefully through the air was unlike anything she’d seen before.

I had clean clothes with me and, when he sat up, I helped him dress. He still felt very weak. I had to feed him, soon. But first we had to get out of the cemetery and this city. The look he gave me was heartbreaking. Love, lust, hunger. We both stood and up and slowly walked out of the crypt and the cemetery. The nearest station was only half a mile away and I brought all we needed with me.

The gas station down the road has a quite mood about it. It’s always abandoned and I’ve never found out why. You always will see this same, gentle looking man walking down the road across from it though. He’s always wearing this small, red bracelet and a rope necklace around his neck. Anytime you see him he’ll always be wearing it. Some say that he found that necklace many years ago in the back of that abandoned gas station, but he always says the same thing when you ask him where he got it, “What’s it to ya’?” One day, I got a closer look at the bracelet when the fragile, old man was asleep in the doorway of the abandoned gas station, it read, “I will not abandon you.” It made me wonder for a while, so then I decided to take a quick glance at the man’s necklace, it had a stone engraved with the initials “HRR”. My initials, I thought to myself. Why would this man have a necklace with my initials on it? I started wandering down the road when the man woke up and called my name. I was frightened, so I started to sprint. Then all of a sudden, I couldn’t run anymore, it’s like my feet didn’t even know how to move. I just stood there in tears, awaiting for the man to approach me. He placed his hand upon my shoulder and said I will never leave you. I turned around slowly and realized that he had quite the resemblance of my boyfriend, Austin, just a lot older. Without saying a word, I trudged back home wondering who the old man was. The next day, I went back to the old, abandoned gas station and the old man was gone. I started to walk back home when a hand settled itself upon my shoulder. I stopped suddenly. A voice from behind me said, “I told you that I’d never leave you.” When I turned around, the voice from behind was my boyfriend, Austin. He was wearing the same necklace that the old man was the day before, the same bracelet too. I asked him where he got that remarkable piece of jewelry and his reply, the same as the old man’s, “What’s it to ya’?” I left it at that, but to this day I still wonder who the old man was that walked the streets of the old, abandoned gas station.

Where was I? I can’t remember.
This trip, so far, has been something awful and blurry and wonderful and not at all befitting of someone of my station.
It’s all Catalano’s fault.
He saw my leather jacket, he saw the neon-colored drink in my hand, he saw my limousine. He saw it, and he smiled and said, “I can do you one better.”
And I believed him.

I was waiting at the train station and my little girl was arguing with me. She pulled away from my hand and jerked away. Just then, I heard a train coming. I saw her stumble backwards and, horrified, I jumped to grab her. She was safe, but I realized that no argument is worth risking safety.

The place you travel to go some where, a place of transition. In an hour or two everyone will be different here.
I sat at the train station wondering, hoping, praying that she would be on this next one. It hadn’t worked the previous four times, though. I wasn’t giving in until I knew for sure.
