“Don’t worry Jason, i’ll find you soon.” whispered Jane to the empty room. she opened the door out of the ransacked house, and walked out, gun in hand, into the darkness. she didn’t care how far she had to go, she would bring her little brother home safe, even if she had to burn the world to do it.

One day, I will see you again. Our eyes will meet, our lips will touch, the fire we have so long ignored will engulf us. We will be one, we will never let go of each other. We will allow our passion to carry us through, and allow ourselves the love that has been denied. One day, soon.

“Soon.” That’s all he said as he let go of my hand and walked down the street in the opposite direction. I watched him until he was out of site. All I could think about was how soon soon really was. Could it be days? Weeks? Even months? I didn’t know how long I could wait for “Soon.”

It is too soon to say whether the discovery is significant. The Department of Propaganda is still making up a story to explain it.

Soon, you will return from Montreal, and soon, I will attend the training session that might mean I will have a job. I am scared for both events, the latter, the fear is obvious. But to see you return, that’s trickier. When I see you regularly, I’m not nearly as unnerved by your presence, but when I miss seeing you, then comes a time where you are unfamiliar, and my ability to be brave that I have built up day in and day out wears down, and once again your grandeur makes my fingers shake and my voice stutter.

I’m not going to wait for you.
I’m not going to waste away my days drinking countless beers and jack shit else, in shabby bars and street corners. I refuse to. I’m not going to wait for you, tapping my foot with impatience. No–soon, I’m going to leave, and it’s up to you to join me or go your own way.

Soon. Soon the time will come when we no longer talk the way we do now. We’ll slowly forget to text back, slowly leave each other in the back of our minds. We’ll drift apart after a while. And pass each other on the street without a second glance. When this day comes, when your name becomes just another arrangement of letter I call an acquaintance, I’ll know there is no point any longer.

Soon, I will leave you. Soon, I will move out and be on my own. Soon, I will have responsibility like cooking and cleaning and paying bills. Soon, I will die.
The concept of soon really terrifies me. When you look at it a certain way, isn’t everything soon?

It wasn’t until the last drop spilled that I realized the effects of the potion were instant. No waiting. No sooner. No later. Just now. And boy, let me say this, nothing could have prepared me for what was next…

I hope with every fiber of my being that thid words are true. That salvation will come. Soon. But what does soon mean? I think it’s just a polite way of saying “I don’t know when so let’s hope it will not be long”. Soon could mean tomorrow. But it could also mean endless years. Don’t tell me that what I am waiting for will come soon. It’s a tease. Rather tell me the truth. No body knows. All we can do is hope and pray.

Waiting waiting waiting
Be strong, be still.
Come as you are
For we will all be here soon.
Is there a time between now and then
Do the stars stop while we wait for the end?

Soon is a word she doesn’t quite understand. Nothing is soon, nothing will ever be soon. If soon were a concept she were actually able to reach then SOON she would be happy. Then SOON she would have a job, be doing well at school, will have found her way with words again, will have moved out have fallen in love will have been doing all the things she so desperately wanted to be doing SOON. But soon wasn’t in her grasp and it never had been and, she knew, it probably never would be.

Soon, I will no longer be a virgin.
I’m planning on it.
I don’t have an actual plan. But i’m sure it will just happen organically.
Actually, I’m counting on that fact.
My girlfriend doesn’t know how I feel.
But soon, she will.
By Chris on 11.25.2012
eventually things will get better. no matter what happens, things will move on, even if you don;t. Regardless of what you do, things come and things go. Sooner than later things will go on and if you didn;t find some way to move on, that you’ll be stuck in the past while everyone else is going onwith their lives. so to put it simply, live for the moment, but work towards the future.

your pocket empty

void of a need to fill
that bottle was made to be seaglass only.

Soon I will be free. Soon I will be an adult in the real world with no college to hide behind. Soon I will have to take responsibility for myself and get a job, pay all of my bills, figure out what I want to do with my life, fail, succeed, balance myself, and be happy. Soon. I am free.

Eventually they will come. As hard and as fast as lightning they will strike. Northerners with their banners behind them. To take away our workers. with their drums beating eloquently throughout the night air; they most certainly will come. We will be ready. And soon.

Soon is relative. Just as is any measurement of time. We promise, hey, we’ll hang out sometime soon. I’ll get to that outline for our project soon. But “soon” today isn’t the same as it is tomorrow. It gets put off more and more with each day. “Sooner or later” mean the same thing, really. The only way to prevent the “later” is if we fulfill our promises immediately. Ah, but do we have the time, or do we use “soon” as a device to save us from our failures?

The clock was crawling by slowly. Soon was such a vague phrase, especially to four-year-old Thomas. As far as Tommy was concerned, soon meant NOW. Or in the next five minutes. When Mommy said ‘we’re going to lunch soon!’ that meant ‘get your shoes on!’ So when people said Christmas was soon, he kept expecting it to show up any minute.

I will have much money saved up. I will be in the best shape of my life. I will spend a few months in hawaii. I’ll find the girl of my dreams and make her the happiest woman on the planet.
