  3. I honestly don’t know why people rally over things such as politics and other issues. It just doesn’t mean much in the end does it? Broken promises. Empty promises to begin with. Everyone leaves disappointed. My point? I don’t really have one. Convictions are difficult. But so are people.

  4. Rally is something that happens when people, or even one person, rise up for a cause. It could be rallying to beat that damn boss in a video game when you’re ALMOST dead.. or rallying against wrongs against civil or human rights. It’s just a rally! KICK ASS!

  25. I used to mock pep rallies. My friend and I would laugh at the cheerleaders and their failure to make us “pepped.” Sometimes I wish I hadn’t failed so much at just enjoying being a teenager. MAybe no one enjoys it. Maybe I enjoyed the angst so much I couldn’t enjoy the fun. I don’t know. Life is weird.
