  21. I sat on the edge of the bluff starting into the foam. Ocean waves smashed into rocks. It was a rhythmic scene as I sat there trying to tally what had worked out well in life and what hadn’t. And if I had a enough time to fix my mistakes.

    Then I realized a strong wind would be enough to dislodged me from my perch. I got up to move to a safer thinking spot, but it was too late. A gust knocked me off the edge and as I hurtled towards the frothing ocean and jagged rocks below, there was enough time left to curse myself for not having figured it out sooner.
