Earring is something that is worn in your ear. They can be different shapes and sizes and different objects too. Many people wear earrings as a pretty or manly depending on if your male or female style.

Have you ever wanted to seem as something more? Something more than just human, something more than just a girl, something more than just 16?
How does one accomplish such?
I want to. I want to seem as big as the universe, not for a means of being important, but just so that I can one day say that my life was beautiful. My life was not dull nor was it boring. I was more than your average 16 year old human girl, because my life was beautiful.

Well this makes sense. Most people do have two earrings after all ;)
I have a couple of ear cuffs too. I like them, but they hurt. Kind of in a Princess and the Pea sort of way. I don’t know why they hurt but that little bit of pressure on the cartilage gives me a big headache. No matter how loose I make them. I have trouble with stiff bracelets and watches too. No matter how loose, if they’re not flexible rubber or fabric, my wrists *really* hurt within a pretty short time! Bangles? Forget about it!

That freaking earring. I keep losing it. Not both. Just one. The back keeps popping off then the front jumps ship too. I’ve gotten pretty good at finding them once they’re gone.

I would wear earrings on my ears if I had them pierced. However, I’ve never gotten them pierced because I’ve never had any reason to do so. I don’t want to spend money on extra jewelry.

Once upon a time there was a princess with a magic earring. Each time she put it in her ear she heard beautiful music. She wrote down the music and took her songs to the royal musician.

I saw a shiny metal earring laying on the edge of my best friend’s desk and wondered where I had seen it before. I remembered that her sister had worn some earrings that looked just like that two weeks ago.

Long and dangly my it shines in the sunlight. Every comments on its beauty. I recieved is for my birthday. Then i realized one is gone. Floating somewhere in the halls, possibly lost forever. “Don’t go my earing,” I shout.

her earings were green. greener than anything i’d ever seen. natural like the grass, that tickled my ass and i was happy i was with her. i’d never seen something so wonderful on an ear. a decoration. a delightful aesthetic that said so much about her in so many different ways. the dimensions of her beauty. all through a simple thing. on her ear.

The blackest amber, tarred and corrosive against the muddy dermis, not pillowy sable or the Ethiop’s lobe. Soot lined fringes of the face are caressed tentatively by leathered hands that brush the sticky jewel pressing tightly into its cushion. Generations condensed and fossilised, they hear the pulsing Red Sea race to climax, echoes of the cupped conch shell reverberating through childlike nerves.

For the price of a headache, hours spent researching, and very little in the way of making a difference – a set of earrings were the last thing on my mind. “Retail therapy” who the hell coined such a phrase anyway?
By HelenGrant URL on 04.17.2012
They were worn by ancient Egyptians. Let’s just say it stretched things a little too far (earlobes).

‘Radar Love’ by Golden Earring is easily one of the best songs of the 1970s. Don’t settle for anything less than the full album version. Brings me out in goose-bumps every time I hear it. It’s electric.

I found an earring on the floor,
or rather it was embedded in my foot
after running across the carpet to grab
the phone before the caller on the other end
decided I wasn’t home.
Where did the earring come from?
I haven’t worn any since the 80s
and this one was too juvenille

I am a Seventh Day Adventist and growing up I was not allowed to pierce my ears or wear any jewelry. When I was younger I used to feel so lame and boring. It made me feel like such a plain jane. But now I feel great to be a clean slate.

She always wore those big earrings, colorful loops that defined her personality. One day, she was not wearing them. She was also particularly quiet. He asked her what was wrong. She said she nothing. But later, he found her father had died. He knew, with out those earrings, she wasn’t feeling normal.

A dangly object thats suspending from your earlobe. The one I’m currently wearing happens to be mini purple feathers. Most common on women, but can be worn by men too. A good accessory to any kind of outfit(:

jewellery used to beguile a women’s ear. Often given as a gift in the first days of courtship. Decoration of the extremity; the ear.

It was small and golden and sat in his ear perfectly, almost defying anyone to make any comments. Sometimes the light would glint off its smooth round shape, reflecting the candlelight on the inn table.

I took out one earring at a gifted conference — to show that it’s ok not to be perfect. That was stupid. Of course it’s not ok not to be perfect.

Earrings or baubles that sparkle on our ears. I have a pair of diamond ones from my parents. Or rather from my dad for my graduation from college, but I like to think it’s from both of my parents. I have lost a beautiful blue tanzanite earring …. one of several important things lost. It kills me… mostly because I feel so irresponsible for losing it.

By moria on 04.17.2012
this stuped earing was stack just wen i had to harry to the elevatore in the other side of the room/ the tall men besid me seem to be amused
I remember when I told you about that time when
I dropped my earring and he was next to me
He said, I’ll help you look for it.
We were in class. I knew he fancied me.
He said, What does it look like?
And he pushed my hair behind my ear to look at my other earring,
Lingering a little too long,
His hand near my face. I pulled back.
And when I told you, that expression crossed over your face;
The one I hate now, but back then I was used to it.
And you said,
I’m the only one who can do that.
And that was okay with me.
