  2. Clovers, to me, are associated with Ireland, and also to me, Ireland is a magical place. Clovers just sound like something mystical and whimsical to me–representing a little tiny piece of the world in which magic can exist. 4 leaf clovers are supposed to be lucky, but also a rarity. What that says about the magic thing, I don’t know, but I know that I haven’t thought about clovers this deeply until I did this thing.

  6. A clover is depicted as a small, green plant. The most well-known is the four-leaf clover. These are known and told to bring luck to someone who finds it. The belief is similar the that of finding a penny. As therhyme goes: Find a penny, pick it up, all day long you’ll have good luck. However, it is not scientifically proven to give luck to the beholder.

  10. Clover makes me think of St. Patrick’s day. Which was over a month ago. Had some good times then though. Went downtown with some awesome friends and had a fun night. I’m going to miss those times in a week and a half when I’m not here anymore. I could use a four leaf clover for good luck right now though. UWF is in the process of reviewing my application and I’m really hoping I get in. If not though, that’s cool too.

  11. The field was an emerald sea. The rolling waves of clover churned back and forth in the gentle summer breeze. as we frolicked we came upon an iron cauldron filled with chunks of little gold pieces… and behind us we heard the quiet chatter of hidden leprechauns under the tarp of green.

  18. I like clovers. CLovers are green and clover like. They are found in fields and other places such as gardens, backyards, frontyards, and your face. Clover can also be a name. Clovers have 3 leaves and sometimes 4 leaves and the 4 leaf-ed ones are supposedly lucky to Irish peoples. Or something of the sort. So yeah clovers are pretty awesome and stuff.

  21. In middle school i found a clover. I kept it for days. I remember during the whole P.E time my friends and I wouldn’t play the games, we would go off and search. Finally I had found one. But it wasn’t green, didn’t have 4 leafs. It was a clover alright, good luck right there in front of me. As the bell rang to time to go to the next class, we were hand in hand. My clover.

  24. I have never seen such a beautiful clover. Clovers are so soft and sweet, and they deserve to be kept forever. Can clovers be compressed, like in a book? That would be awesome. I could write a book about how soft clovers are. I love clovers. I should keep a clover in my room, on my wall. This clover is so neat and each petal is so perfectly formed that I think I should hold it in my hand for as long as I can. It would be awesome.

  29. I had a pup named Clover once. She was a Jack Russel, lively and adorable. She had a habit of running off and sending her owners into a panic. My parents gave her away when I went abroad on exchange. “Yes we sent her to the farm” They joke, clearly thinking its funny to use the euphamism for canine euthanasia.

“Clover? Can you hear me? I know it’s hard to understand, but you’re mother died. She’s gone. But that doesn’t mean you won’t see her someday. You will. I promise.”

The little leprechaun turned towards the man that brought her this hideous news. She stood there for a few seconds with a blank look on her face, and then burst into tiny green tears.

  40. Green. Four Leafed. Lucky. Finding a four leafed clover used to be impossible, but now you can buy them. Does this diminish the value of a clover found in the wild? Green in the grass, I always look for them in the spring at soccer games. I’ve never found a wild four leaf, just bought them at the store. What does this say about me? Do I need to buy my luck? Does this have some effect on my future? Will I never be lucky but have to make my own luck? Do people who find four leafed clovers experience better luck? Will we ever know whether the clover made them lucky?
