I was in the zone. I had never felt better in my life. Even just walking down the street felt out of this world. I was riding my bicycle and no one could stop me. No one was in my way and there was nothing on my mind but the high and the breeze of the open air slamming against my face. I was untouchable. If only for a moment, if only until the cops caught up.
Everyone knew of Zacharias’s decision that he had to face. What would it be, exactly, to help Delilah? How would he ever be able to repair the damage? It seemed for all the world an impossible thing to do–so impossible, in fact, that there were many times when Zach’s friends were sure that he was going to give into the pressure that he felt every day. My zone is when I’m inspired; either by an interesting and eye catching outfit or by an encouraging and helpful teacher. When I’m in my zone I sit andfell on thoughts just pour out of the tips of my fingers, while I orchestrate my symphonies. However, I never said those symphonies were beautiful.. Sometimes they’re manic, or hurt, or angry, or sinful, or full of joy and brightness..
Today, my symphony is bland, it sounds just like every other wanna be out there.. But some days, it can be beautiful.
A place with restrictions. Not usually a fun or friendly place. Someone, somewhere has determined the rules for this area that you are to follow in order to be there. Isn’t a place I want to be.
The war zone was simple, yet inaffective. Zachary had thought for so long that Melissa would have remembered everything, but as he watched, dejected, as her expressionless face gazed out at the barren wasteland, he realized that she would always be infected. There was no hope. Caronia had done a horrible number on her–her mind would forever be gone.
I am in the zone. Just living the life I’ve always wanted to live, on top of the world. I’ve got everything figured out. My life is beautiful and almost in full bloom.

when I get into the zone, I don’t even think about it, you are always there too, it’s the strangest phenomenon… to think that when I revert to the recesses of my mind, and start to focus, on what? I don’t know, but when I do, YOU are always there. this is where WE reside.

That’s where I’m about to go right now, the zone, the uncharted territory of my mind. Off limits to all but me, and even I get scared in there sometimes. It’s interesting what lies in the folds of your mind, it’s complex, and mysterious.
When I’m in my zone, I’m thinking about love and making love. It’s the one place I feel totally safe and loved. I look into my boyfriend’s eyes and know I am where I’m meant to be.
Construction. An area where demolition of the old and new combine together in complex organization. Anything. Bricks, metal, mortar. Thoughts. Construction of the self in ways that defy the outer limits of the functions of society. Reaching a point where there is only yourself in a sea of epiphanies and eurekas. How we all long to be stuck inside this place where no one but you can intervene. A peace of mind. An orange cone alerts everyone that this place is off limits, it is only your own.

When you’re “in the zone,” you’re thinking critically. The zone is a place you want to be. A place where all young, vibrant, smart youths should be. If you’re out of the zone, you’re slacking. Do everything in your power to get back to the zone. To the place where you can put your critical thinking skills to the test.

I think I like him so much, even though he’s already taken, because he takes me out of my comfort zone and makes me silly and act like a normal teenager. He makes me feel real, feel wanted, but he’ll never be mine.

Wish I’d slept the past 8 days- the racoons coming in the house a couple weeks ago has freaked me right out and I’m hyper sensitive to every noise between 3 and 5am.
Safe zone. The place I was told to go everyday after school, if I even decided to go. My brother told me to wait there until he came back. What he didn’t know was that in all that time I was going to the park to watch the birds
The term reminds me of when I was little, and had first run away with my brother Brandon. I was scared and…well, pretty stupid. I didn’t know what was going on and for a long time we lived on the streets. When he went out he’d be scared to death that I would get in trouble so he put the city into zones, numbered from least to most dangerous.
I traffic zone. A state of being. When you are in it everything goes smooth. I love the zone. I miss the zone. Bring me more time in my zone. I get so much accomplished. It is also a nutrition bar with a fairly unpleasant mineral taste.
