  3. “Why are you trying to intrigue me?”

  4. You expect people to be intrigued by you. It’s the privileged you were born worth, the privilege of having a surrounding that told you everything you breathed was spectacularly unique.

  5. Is there alist of the one word prompts without typing it out online? Intrigued by this.

  6. She raised her eyebrows at the headline, but otherwise put it from her mind as she folded the paper and tucked it into her bag. She was never one for intrigue. Murder, mystery, revenge, romance; all very impractical, if she did say so herself. She rose from the table, sweeping crumbs onto the floor and wiping away the ring her teacup had left.

  7. The ninth date in a month and she was disillusioned. Conversation starters about jobs and hobbies were routine and curling up with a good book was more exciting. This new guy looked like the others, until he leaned back and sighed with a weary chuckle. “No offense, but I think I have first date fatigue,” he said. Something inside of her bloomed like blood hitting water, and for the first time in weeks, she flashed a genuine smile.

  8. What intrigued her most was his eyes, they looked opaque and mysterious. Never in her life that she experienced such a steady gaze that’s fixated into her. His eyes felt distant and inviting at the same time.

  11. I looked at the man in front of me and smiled. Finally, proof that we weren’t alone in this world. That the legends, the lore, everything I had read as a child…it was real. This man in front of me, with wings and almond shaped eyes and slightly blue skin, he was the proof I wasn’t insane like everyone had insisted. The things I saw were /real/, and I couldn’t have been happier, even if his presence meant that the world was on the brink of the apocalypse.

  12. evoking so much emotion, this little child cut through the walls of her indifference and made her want to find out more, question things, dig deeper. Who knew the power in this being with only 5 years of existence.

  13. Blah blah blah…his speech intrigued me. His dance moved me. And the rainbows and butterflies delighted in wonder.

  19. “intrigue”, that was the word she used for every thing that was going out of their ordinary boring lives; she could kiss the janitor on the cheek and pop her leg just so, on a thursday afternoon, with no intention of doing more than creating an occasion to use this elegant sounding word that her husband otherwise never gave cause for.

  20. She was leaning towards him and talking urgently in his hear. I obviously couldn’t make out words, but there was a distinct feeling of something being built and shaped in between those two.

  21. Her mother’s call from downstairs woke her up from her dream land. She stepped outside of her room and was about to go downstairs when a sight of her mother stood beside her suddenly, intriguing her.

“Don’t go downstairs, I heard her too,” The figure told her with eyes filled with worry and fear.

At the same time, her mother’s call could still be heard from downstairs, loud and clear. What would she do?

  22. As soon as she stepped inside the large room, everyone turned their attention towards her. There was something about her that intrigued everyone and made their jaws drop to their knees, something unique that can never be explained.

  23. ‘Intrigue is what makes us ask questions,’ she thought. ‘And the opposite of intrigue is knowledge. But which is more dangerous?’

  24. Talullah sat beside Billy Joe and watched her with a not-so-subtle look of intrigue. Billy Joe didn’t look like the other girls in the classroom; in fact, Billy Joe was so unlike the other girls in the classroom that it also resonated in her name. Despite the teacher’s objections, she wore her backwards baseball cap at all times, chewing some sort of minty gum as the hem of her long flannel coast draped over the back of her chair as she leaned forward on her desk with a glazed expression of adolescent apathy.

  25. Everybody likes to have a little intrigue in their lives. Knowing that this is a bit of a generalisation, there is something unique and special about being party to an intrigue of sorts. It provides you with an option to know what it is without other people being privy to that knowledge.

  26. i am intrigued about everythibg, i think football is awesome. I like to play baseball. I love nascar and my cats. I am a fan of the seahawks.

  27. She was intrigued by the strange sound. She put one foot in front of the other along the dark forest past, walking slowely towards the call. Every fiber of her being strained to hear it again, but no sound came. As the approached what she thought was the origin of the scream, she saw nothing in the clearing but a young man, lying in the grass as if dead.

  28. my first entry

  29. No one wants to know the definition of intrigue, but we all experience it from time to time. Everyone, including myself wants to know

  30. She was intrigued by the sounds of the call. It was the strangest thing she had ever heard. Putting one foot in front of the other, she stepped further down the path. There was the sound again, louder this time. It was closer this time.

  31. We were walking through central park at two am with a bottle of whiskey in hand. He stopped his pace and spun me around to face him. He told me he loved me. I was taken aback because we have only met this morning yet I was so intrigued for I felt I have known him all my life.

  32. I’m very Intrigue about how people in this world are selfish. They simply don’t care about anyone unless they can get something that is interesting.

  33. beauty is intriguing in the way a fire is. it draws you in, slowly, slowly, as to not let you know you are burned until it is too late, your skin has taken the ash black texture of a charred coal, your eyes are dazzled by the flickers of light, overwhelming, painful. you can no longer remember what is was like before you were so intrigued, and such is its beauty.

  34. Hitchcock introduced us; “Intrigue,” he said, “Intrigue, meet my newest pupil.”

  35. What was it about the bad boys that made things so much more… interesting? There was a draw there that she didn’t entirely understand. Something about the danger, and the mystery maybe.

All she knew was that one look at him set something within her soul on fire, and that was worth all the consequences in the world.

  36. Intrigue is to find interest in something. It means to find something that you feel emotions for regardless of whether they are good or not. It sparks something in you, typically an adventurous feeling. I feel that if you are intrigued you would search further into whatever you were interested in.

  37. The thoughts when you see someone for the first time, and there’s something about them that you can’t quite put your finger on. The tone of their voice, the swish of their hair, the smile on ther face. You need to know more.

  40. He looked around with intrigue. He had never been to a science museum before, and had always so desperately wanted to go. It was incredible, the greatest monuments ever pledged to the world of science was dazzling to his eager eyes. His feet got ahead of his mind and began to examine it all.
