  1. The horses were running around, terrified of the writhing and treacherous flames that engulfed the farm. Their owner, who appeared to have awoken was amazed to discover the sight of four horses, laying there, dead.

  2. horses coming down the valley like they are scared.
    they remind me of you.
    you ran, you ran.
    you ran away from me.

  3. They were in those hats singing the camptown races
And cheering way too loudly sipping mint juleps
And my sister was just in bliss to be one of them
And these noble creatures ran their hearts around the track
With tiny men clinging to their backs egging them on

  4. Horses are animals, usually tamed by people for riding or travelling, but over the years it is also used in games such as polo and horse riding races and hurdles as well.Horses are very loyal as well and were known as the royal vehicle for the kings and queens. They were also used in wars and they are very calm and can also run very fast.

  5. Flowing hair, freedom at every corner, nose upturned to to disrespect and head always held high. Horses hold power. They’re long legs free to take them to any corner and every part of the world and they do as they want. It’s only in captivity where the horse is at a disadvantage. I’ve never ridden one but I can only imagine the feeling.

    I don’t know.

  7. The free running animals which let on a beautiful life. There hair flowing in the wind as they run on their four legs. With happiness and focus, they run forward without hindrance. They are considered good luck for many cultures and a symbol for moving forward.

  8. I am sick of hearing about stupid horses. This word has come up multiple times. Grrrrrr
They prance around and dance and they have a very good stance. Neigh.

  9. they neigh in the field and have long flowing mains. I do not care for them, I find them frightening and overrated as well as gigantic and scary. I am glad I am not a horse. Neighhhhh. I think they are also graceful and can gallop gayly. I think they are also free spirited and beautiful. They are like ‘Black Beauty’ and Red Rum and Desert Orchid. They run at the grand national. Neigh They gallop on.

  10. There once was a horse named Bob. He was a very fast stallion. He fancied some other horse called Tracy. She was pretty but a bit slow. Bob didn’t know how he felt about that. Him and a couple of his friends in the field used to run around with Tracy. But not anymore.

One day Tracy just wasn’t there and Bob didn’t know where she had gone.

  12. It was the first time I saw one. I was plenty scared at first, I’m sure I just stood there. She guided my hand forward, and flattened out my palm. Pretty much the wrong way to go about it you’d think, just sticking your hand out to be gnawed off.

  13. The horses in the field lifted their heads from grazing and watched her as she walked by wading through the tall grasses.

  15. Of all the places they could go, she chose the horses. She loved how they were gallant and big. Riding them was like a heaven all in its own. Where she could ride off and noone would be able to find her.

  16. Horses are pretty creatures of the earth after dinosaurs. If they were flesh eaters they would be scary. But then I guess we are lucky that they are apple loving, grass eating muscular, loving creatures. That is unless you fall off their backs!

  19. The darkness of the stable only accentuated the bright frenzy in their eyes. Clad in old British steel, they shrunk back into their holes, wild legs tripping over one another, nearly frothing at the mouth. They all knew what was going to happen.

  21. The horses, I saw them approaching. On top of those horses were men, men bent on taking my family away from me.

“You can’t do this! We’re innocent!”

“According to the law, you are not.” Said one of the men. One of them got off his horse and pushed past me. I ran after him but I knew I could do nothing.

“All of you are under arrest for betraying our kingdom!” The man said.

  24. “Jesus, Will!” cried Garth from his seat by the window, his eyes bugging out as he looked out over the ranch. “How many horses does your family have?”

Willa smiled with flecks of bacon in her teeth as the rest of us quietly continued our meals. “Enough,” she replied. “They all have names, too. My ma handles ’em better than my pa does. Ever wanna ride one?”

  25. Horses are mighty, wonderful creatures. Their hooves stomped against the grass as they run and run and run. The sound is a beautiful symbol of freedom. Of running so fast and wild that you think you are flying.

    by E on 07.02.2015
  26. The horses dance, a dumb dance. A dance for the fools. The fools rejoice at the dancing horses. The hooves patter on the soft grass, the sky twinkles a diddly tune. The fools dance a foolish dance. m

  28. There are a lot of horses in the barn, just horsing around with their long horse-faces. This piece of writing is a horse’s you know what, because I’m just not up to it today. Some days we gallop better than others, some days we barely trot.

  29. horses run inside my heart
    brushing each other’s sides
    tangling their majestic crins
    their pulse blends with mine
    their stomps wake my dreams
    are you there too?
    mounting the most beautiful foal,
    snow white like your skin,
    trembling as your hands
    colossal like your fears.
    let my heart go,
    stop the brusque palpitations,
    let me go.

  30. When I saw the beautiful chestnut mare galloping across the fields of green, I suddenly had faith that after all of the evil and cruel that goes on in the world, the world still has hope.

  31. Go with me to wild places
beyond the reach of everyday spaces
taken in to see the sites
    of long distant passes
    cold windy nights
in the the now with all the right minds
off with the stars in darkness with light

  32. Horses.. oh man. Beautiful, powerful, and… amazing. I started loving them because my friend did and it continued into my teenage years. Well, I still love them, it’s just not as noticeable if someone was to look around my room.

  36. Horses used to come from outer space. No one knows that now. They don’t talk like they used to. Or dance. We beat them into submission and now all they do is eat and look at the stars. Maybe they’re hoping someone will save them. Maybe they’re regretting leaving their home.

  38. I don’t like horses. They’re skeevy little buggers. Lookin’ at me with them big ol’ eyes. Horses are up to something and they’re probably capable of doing it. Look how big they are. I mean, horses could probably replace humans and they’d look fresh to death doing it, too. Don’t trust horses.

  39. Riding through the hills, wind whipping through his mane. He stands tall, proud to have his owner on his back; to take her wherever they please. He will protect her from whatever comes. Except that garden snake. Garden snakes are scary.
