  3. “Something’s not adding up,” Mike mumbled as he chewed on the end of the #2 pencil he currently held, staring over the top of the computer that his partner Lennie occupied. “You’re telling me a wealthy tycoon on the verge of a breakthrough that’ll potentially make him a billionaire is capable of a gruesome murder like this? It doesn’t make sense.”

  6. Wealthy does not always mean that you have a lot of money or riches. We are wealthy in other ways, such as in love, and the things that created happiness, such as family, and friends. You could be wealthy simply because you choose to be joyful, or to have hope or peace or faith.

  7. Everyone wants to be wealthy, do they really know why they want it? It is just the FOMO factor? Maybe wealthy shouldn’t just mean financial wealth, or maybe it is.

  8. There is a distinct difference between being wealthy and being rich. Being “rich” is mostly associated with an abundance of money or liquid capital in your life. Rock stars, actresses, and most of the upper class are “rich.” However, rich can be lost as easily as it is gained. Poor investments or money management can easily become the bane of the rich.

“Wealth” however is a completely different story. Wealth is typically associated with a level of means that elevates a person or persons to a completely different social and personal dynamic. Wealth plays into much more than just a persons monetary gains also. Wealth is something that extends across generations and more often than not is something people are born into rather than accomplishing themselves. Having wealth can mean that something as trivial as a last name can make someone worth more money than the sum of their financial parts. Thus wealth is as much a perception as it is a distinction.

“Wealth” is value so great that it begets more value simply by existing. Which is where the concept that the more money you have the easier it is to get more money. Wealth cannot be gained or lost easily and can be as much of a prison as it is a heaven.

  9. I imagine extreme wealth is overrated; it becomes a burden. But I don’t see anything that could go wrong with being fairly wealthy. (•̀ᴗ-)

  10. He was so rich. That’s all she knew. As she skirted past the crowds in the room, her eyes never left him. He was SO rich. She dodged a well-meaning boy trying to hand her glass of champagne and darted across the floor to pass right in front of him.

  11. ´ He is okay, but wealthy, that is wanting to work and relax´, said the clerk.
´This is the part of all the responses to the desire for time control´, replied the bell.

  12. Once upon a full moon, there lived a man who was very wealthy. Or more like, his father was wealthy and he just used all his father’s hard earned money. One day, his father decided he had enough of this nonsense and gave all his money away so that his son could not use it anymore.

  14. Is it too much to ask for me to be independently wealthy, when I have been profoundly poor for most of my life? I spent my first three years out of college being a dishwasher at a rundown Italian restaurant, milking each penny for all it was worth. I ate ramen and drank warm tap water and lived with six other people. Now I get to drink a beer sometimes and live with only four other people. Yeah. My affluence is staggering.

  15. Today we are here, not as the wealthy nations of the world looking down on others, but as asset rich nations wearing uniforms and badges of our victories, flaunting our intent and egos, bragging about what we can do if you don’t step in line and do what we say. It is no longer wealth that dictates power, it is power that dictates wealth and the future of humanity.

  16. Wealth is not important, it does not create nor guarantee happiness. Having enough is essential in order to be peaceful and serene. Thinking that you have enough and having a mindset of enough helps to bring bounty and openness to ones life. I have enough. I am enough. I am wealthy. I attract the wealth I need in order to be peaceful and serene.
