  6. When you buy a new house the first question most people have is, what colour should we paint the walls? This is something not to be taken lightly because the right or wrong colour can hinder or increase your mood. Walls which meant to protect harm the mind, cutting it off from areas of itself. Soon we begin to wonder, what is the mind? What is my mind? Until off again we go, building more walls.

  32. Walls – same word as yesterday but let’s give it another go. Knew a guy named Neil Walls once, a bible Prof at Candler. Didn’t get tenure, because he cared more about teaching than scholarship. Funny how that happens — to great teachers, people who don’t paper their walls with useless articles with no impact, but who rather focus on tearing down walls between people, and between people and ideas.

  36. Walls can be a means for one to find themselves, but they may also be what leads or keeps us from others. It isn’t easy being wide open with people, because that requires trust and when you have been hurt by so many it tends to lead you away from trusting…hence the walls that we build around ourselves.

  38. These four walls are caving in on me. Well there are many more than four walls, probably more like sixteen. But they all look the same, day in and day out. Being trapped is not a very nice feeling. Although it is much more preferable to be trapped in this walls that are at least comfortable, and homely, rather than stepping out into the big bad world which doesn’t have any walls of support whatsoever…

  39. Walls are building up on front of my eyes. I try to find a solution to my problem, but wherever I look I only see walls. I need to find a ladder to climb over. I try to look in different direction,s but it’s getting so scary to know that when I’m over the wall, I will be alone there. At least in the bignning, my family and friends will stay on this side of the wall and I will only have myself to rely on.

  40. Walls are surrounding me everywhere. I went to start building my life from a new pattern, but how can I do this when I am all surrounded by walls? I make a step to the right, I see a big wall of all the visa questions, of all the problems that moight come up when I make the step. I get so scared… but i know that i should do this. SOmetimes i think it’s easier to let someone else decide for me, but will that be what I really want?
