  1. Simple pure and soft. A field of flowers envelopes the landscape, contrasting against the serene sky and fiery sun. I pick one and stare, it blows in the wind disappearing among the others.

  2. I can see a violet sunset, a deep rich violet saturating the clouds with it’s all powerful purple-ness. Yes, I said it, I said it. It’s all powerful effing purpleness. The violet clouds reflect various shades of orange and blue and pink, shining down on you with a calm glow. It’s beautiful, you think, running your fingers through your deep blue hair, a smile held firmly on your face.

    Except me.

  6. It smelled beautiful in that violet room. I didn’t know what it was and I didn’t plan to figure out. I just always loved the smell. I would sit in there for hours and just breathe. She was drunk, of course, and didn’t realize I was only ten.

  8. I don’t understand naming people after flowers. People stink. People can be ugly. You can’t be sure your baby won’t grow up to look like a cabbage that’s been chucked off a building and if you name them “Violet” or “Rose” or “Lily” it will only make the contrast that much more stark. Plus, flower names are a lot like food names, like Cherry and Sugar, and names ending in “ie” or “i”, like Brandi and Hunnie. They all seem to belong to at least one hooker.

  13. The colour violet, how beautiful and serene it is. It’s a flower. I wish I had violet eyes. Only one person has naturally violet eyes, I can’t remember her name. Dammit. It’s so pretty. Strewn across the floor

  29. Violet rays jetting out like language of the divine, my writing is always so spacey, from other world, where did I come from then? Some distant land of paradise and I cannot fathom this world, the fear and anger, the greedy goblins taking over, let us love, let us find it in there somewhere buried deep, a violet glow beneath the rubble.
