    She didn’t have dark hair though, which is how most girls named Violet are portrayed.
    She was an…anomaly? Is that the right word?
    I never finished the story though.
    I never seem to be able to finish stories because I never feel like I am doing the characters justice. Maybe something’s wrong with that. Or maybe I like things to remain unfinished. Let the stories finish themselves…

  20. Was there ever a violet more beautiful than this? I will keep it myself. He is constituted to only have concerns of a solemn nature. I invisibly suffer but it is more digestible than being the recipient of his laughter and words like callow. I am too frail in the morning.

  22. in 5th grade, we were shown a video in chorus of people dancing interpretively while shouting out colors of the rainbow. they said violet like “VI-O-LET” and it was followed by “BAH-LOO,” so whenever i see the word “violet,” that’s what comes to mind.

They always brought her darker, duller pant suits, t-shirts, and jeans. It was disappointing, to say the least, but if she was going to rebel over something, she would rather it be something substantial.   30. Violet is my mother’s name. She is a kind old woman who lives in the valley. She loves nature and she spends as much time outside as possible. She cries at night for the daughter she lost. That is okay. She’ll live on because my name is Violet also. Hopefully we do not meet the same fate.
