  1. veins was yesterdays word, am i right? How long do words stay up here? I thought it was only one day. Oh, well. I’m still going to write this stupid “paragraph” as blood pumps through my VEINS! :)

  2. so if this is it, and still ill sit and drink from the inside of my veins and float down them and slide and cough. if this is after all, all ive drank, then i may as well be a happy boy. If after all all I am is the veins in my skin I may as well be happy. If after all when my stomach rumbles im just waiting to move then I might as well not take my time. I might as well be right.

  4. I’m attached to these cab;es that are putting IV fluids into my veins. I was attacked by a rabid donkey at the carnival. The carnnies came and said sorry, and that they had no insurance. In return, they could give me free passes to the museum, and a date with the bearded lady. I told him “I don’t date anything with a pulse and a beard”, and he said, “your loss dude”.

  5. veins can be bulgy and big but apparently not red. You see then in the arm or pop out when someone is angry or under physical stress, and people stick needles in then, just stick then in and pull out blood, or push in chemicals.

  7. veins run through me.
they flow with the blood that for our entire history we have tried to conceal in the mirror, in fear of facing our immortality.
only recently has the beauty and miracle of childbirth reached celluloid.
thank you children of men, knocked up and eastern promises.

  10. i look at my hands stretched tight with nothing holding them together except for my veins. Do I know what I’ve done and how much history has coursed through the tiny tunnels of truth and love? I think not. Perhaps I should think about it. But who needs that? It’s not like I’ve got anything better to do and as soon as I do find something, my red veins will have turned blue again.

  11. The veins crawl. The veins transport. The veins keep the world alive. We must be like veins, we must crawl, we must transport, we must keep the world alive.

  14. The veins in his arm pulsed in rythym with his heart which was working far more than it had in years. His chest hurt, but he was unable to think of anything other than the voice on the other end of the phone. Could this really be happening? Coul this all really be true? And if so, what was he going to do now? The voice began to grow dim and was overshadowed by the beating of his heart…

  15. on which the world HAAANGS, VEEINNS, that’s my super dense kryptonian exo-skeleton BITCH. Try to be a little more sensitive. I have to keep formaldehyde runnin through me just so I don’t kill myself from the excess coolness I exude. Guheez.

  16. I have veins in my arms. They are blue and you can see them pretty well against my yellowish complexion. A long time ago, when I was young (I’m talking like seven or eight here) you could barely see my veins at all. These days, however, they are pretty apparent. I don’t know what caused this change, I didn’t notice over the years.

  18. the vericose rivers of blood-drenched water that run through miles of uncharted fleshy territory, and caress my bones with the flow of life, seep deep within me and bear my mortal strife. So that when they tear I tear. When they slither. I slither along with them.

  20. The veins on my legs were starting to show up, indicating that I had truly moved into being middle-aged and could no longer fool myself into thinking I was a young girl anymore.

I had often seen older women with veins on their legs and was saddened for them and delighted for myself because my legs were still smooth and mark-free. No more, I’m afraid!

  21. the blood that ran in her veins were not red but blue, like the woman in bilal’s comics. blue blood, what could that mean? was then because of that people said we could have cold blood? and did that mean that she was… cold blooded?

  28. Veins, they emcompass your body. Your life flows through them and it propels you to move on. Nothing would be possible without these, your life, your status nor even your skills; all would be for nought. These are the essence of life or merely the bridge on which it travels.

    by Eric Harrell on 01.16.2009
  29. Blue and faint beneath your skin. A guide to wear the needle digs in. Clutch you fist and make them pop. I never liked giving blood. But I always do it, out of obligation.

  30. The veins in his neck throbbed as he started down at me with eyes that were so filled with anger that I saw actual flames in them. He raised his arm and I flinched. A look of wonder came over his face and he lowered his arm slowly. I continued to sit on the floor, scared.

  31. he could feel it, the gentle hum through his body, as if there was a computer turned on inside of him. it spread through his lungs and his head, vibrating through his eyes until he didnt see colour anymore, just the whole of it, and everything was complete and powerful. the liquid ran through even the finest veins in his body, with the needle sticking out of his arm.

  32. My veins are pretty big, as I sit here typing this I look at my skinny hands and see the huge man like veins protruding, blue they are from my perspective. They are pumping my life line through me… so what? Veins are boring. Lets talk about something interesting.

  40. I hate veins they creep me out, I think i have a phobia to them or something. Especially guys with huge bulging veins all over their arms, I get scared that they’re going to walk past a bush or something and its going to cut open a fucking artery or something and they could just die right there. I don’t even like looking at my own veins, its like a reminder of my mortality
