There’s a hell of a lot of this word in Twilight books.

They’re constantly broken but still constantly created. It’s kind of like a circle. A never ending circle.
Broken apart on the inside. Torn to pieces. Never whole again.

A treaty is a contract and this one is between the world and I. The world will exist and I will spend time with it. Should I try to change it?

I don’t like this word. A treaty just makes me think of the Treaty of Paris. Instantly, I don’t know why though. I feel like a failure because I could not write about this word. xD

A treaty is a way of making peace between two parties. Like Indians and cowboys or between all the countries in the world in World War II. A treaty can solve many problems and is the most rational, adult thing to do in this bloodthirsty world of idiots.

A treaty is what this world used to rely on for peace. a simple agreement that should create some kind of outcome for the future. its suupposed to be the eend of a war or disagreement. but is it really?

They had a treaty between them. Mrs. Parker was to perform all tasks to do with the house with the exception of those things which extended beyond her immediate knowledge whereupon the corresponding expert would be called upon. Mr. Parker was to do as he pleased. The catch was that Mrs. Parker’s attorney had inserted a killer caveat. Literally.

The four girls recited their poem. “Blossoms and Bluebells, Peonies and Pansies, Girls of the Garden, tending petals with mirth, Girls of the Garden, sowing the earth.” Each took the other’s hands and nodded heads at the smallest member who accepted the club treaty earnestly.

The silence felt like a treaty in my house. When my mother and brother stopped fighting the rest of us just waited to see who would break it first, who would offer poisoned hope and help that the other was too addicted to the noise to avoid.
By laurapacker URL on 06.05.2012
Is there sch a thing as a meaty treaty? Yes…because I said so.
By vanhaydu URL on 06.05.2012
Between the Native Americans and the federal government. Hundreds of them, all broken by the good ol’ us of a, land of the “free”.

I once had a friend that thought I was insane. One day this friend thought that he could train me to be normal. I told him I was fine, that I was okay. But he said that he had a code word for good. The word was treaty and then he would give me a chocolate. He thought that this could work through positive reinforcement.

An agreement between countries. There have been many over the course of our history. The Treaty of Versailles. You don’t hear about them much anymore as we no longer have them.
By Loretta URL on 06.05.2012
Treaty is a word that has the word treat in it. Maybe a treaty is a treat for those involved in the treaty. I’m not sure of very many instances where treaties weren’t treats. Treaties can end wars and shit, that would seem like a pretty amazing treat to me.
By Olivia on 06.05.2012
a form, usually an agreement. sometimes an ultimatum. usually unfair and unjust. usually the most signed document ever.
By perrin on 06.05.2012
A document signed between two parties.

Treaty of Paris. oh.. AP Us history… you’ve done nothing for me. Thanks Mr. Armstrong. This is the kind of word that sparks serious spine chills and a lack of motivation. A mood killer for sure.
By Angie Merrill on 06.05.2012
There are a lot of treaties that have been made in history. They are made to make sure that people do what they are supposed to do. It can be used to make peace between nationsto put agreements on paper.
By Lisa Jackson on 06.05.2012
It was a good thing that he planned to go to the treaty signing…he thought that his presence there would lend it some credibility. Hopefully that was the case because there were very few press to see the actual signing and therefore not too many would be notified of the event.
By coramie on 06.05.2012
A treaty is to serve both parties. Yet, in the end, I end up with the least to receive. All I do is nod. I don’t have feelings. That’s preposterous! Another human being with emotions? I can’t get hurt? All I do is hurt others in the end. I might as well serve in the process of serving.
By Locke and Demosthenes on 06.05.2012
Richard the Twenty-Third signed the treaty that ended the Battles of Montoya and Grinjo. Never mind that the two countries didn’t exist, there were no battles, and that Richard was just a seven-year-old named Ricky playing with toy knights ending a major conflict. But hey, he could be the best diplomat in the future. One never knows.
By Belinda Roddie URL on 06.05.2012
I don’t really know what treaty mean because you know, I’m french so that kind of sucks. I’d to speak fluent english and understand words like “treaty”. Well, that’s one of my dreams. Hm yeah, i don’t know what I’m writing but that’s ok.
By Leah on 06.05.2012
If this a pact that when is the deal not in my favour. I put everything into this and yet you get want you want while I wait. I understand someone has to come off second best in a treaty, these conditions, these requirements by which we have to live.
By traindeer on 06.05.2012
They want a treaty? If I couldn’t trust them before I put my john hanscock on a piece of paper then I still couldn’t do it after it. I have a hard time believing treaty creates peace when it starts with self decision that comes from within. If you can do it by signing your name, why couldn’t you do it before? It’s old, cold, nonsense.
By Colby K on 06.05.2012
treaty of peace. documentation of agreement. physical proof of the world being forced to act civil towards one another. it can make one place so much better and make another even worse.
By Max on 06.05.2012
is what people do when they feel the need to make up for faults and not have to think about them anymore. they feel they need to bring peace to a situation they started.they are broken

It was dark, and the moon was high up in the midnight sky. It was Halloween, the day of the dead. Me and my friends was out walking on Trick and Treat, when we suddenly heard a strange sound.
“Who’s there?” one of my friends asked to the darkness.
“You know me… You have always known me, haven’t you?”

AP European History was where I learned that the world was like a battleground and it felt like a long time ago, when nations fought each other almost like it was for fun and then took it back when they felt like it or had no other choice or because someone got married or gave it back. Treaties feel like bigger deals now, but they probably felt like big deals then too.

The bond between to warring worlds. be it countries, cities, or just two people. Nothing held back, nothing forgotten. The tie that can bring two completely different worlds together peacefully.
By Dianne on 06.05.2012
the treaty of versalles was made as an armistice for the war to finish. they exist other treaties but the majory are to stablish something or end with something.
By alejandra on 06.05.2012
an amazing thing happened once the peace broke out. The treaty was signed, and there was rejoicing in the streets. Happiness ebullient. Everywhere children were hugging their mothers as they cried. Daddy is coming home.
By Tom on 06.05.2012
does the little doggy want a treaty for his belly? in this sense the dog represents the fucked up government we have leading us today. all the people on this planet follow a few men that control everything.
By nick on 06.05.2012
What is a divorce but a treaty between two warring parties?
By SWellsBennett on 06.05.2012
There is a treaty that I made today between my sister and I,
and it says that she can’t hurt me
by punches in the eye.
I say it’s a great one,
But she’s not so sure I’m right.
By Ireland on 06.05.2012
I spent the entire night thinking about what will happen in 3 hours. A treaty has taken place, I have to sign it and save our company… In return, I have to give up my life. I don’t know why we have agreed to such terms, but for some reason, I didn’t hesitate to say no.
By Paige URL on 06.05.2012
wonder why this isn’t anything like getting treats. making a treaty. it reminds me of pirates. treaty. hearty. not a very good word actually.
By Jordan on 06.05.2012
I have never signed a treaty. Though lots of people in history have. I dont see the point in treatys simply because people never seem to hold to them. I mean really what good is peoples word these days. The integrity of this world has decreased rapidly as time has gone by.
By Lauren on 06.05.2012
Three hours from now, I have to sign a treaty for my team. It involves me giving my life up to save someone else. I didn’t hesitate when I decided to this, but now I feel scared. I don’t know what will come after life, or even after I am taken away by the helpers that come for me. What do I do?
By Paige on 06.05.2012
They signed the treaty quickly. the quill spent meer seconds on the paper, one swift movement from the two and it was done. Neither side wanted to fight anymore. Or at least thats how they made it seem. In each of the Geneal’s eyes blazed a fierce determinance to get what they wanted, and a treaty most certainly didn’t provide that. If only they knew how far this devilsh greed and lack of following the rules would take them… oh why didn’t they see it before?
