  3. Pain laced through him, clouding his vision. Everywhere he looked, there was blood. Bodies. Death, and no life to help. Then as he strained his ears, he heard it. A single crackly voice coming from a nearby cop car. He hurried over and picked up the receiver, yelling for help only to realize on the other end a radio was playing to a receiver that had been left on.

    There was no life left to call out to.

  30. aliens probably try to send messages to us all the time, but in sounds that we don’t pay any attention to. Either the pitch is out of our range, like dog whistles, or the sounds are out of our sense of consciousness. Perhaps it’s like body language – we transmit all kinds of messages everyday but do people really hear them?

  33. It’s very easy to transmit diseases these days with our overpopulation and all of the poor education on diseases. I’m thinking of AIDS and how I wish to help those sufferers one day. I can only hope, however, that others will take action now.
