Trying to break all of my bad habits and become the type of person that is pro-active and assertive isn’t easy. I didn’t think it would be this difficult to transform myself, but I was wrong. I never would have been able to predict the emotional and physical toll all of this has taken on me.

It is crazy how much you can want something. To yearn, to believe, to feel it in your grasp, but only for a mili-second. Because then that idea of what’s perfect, what you want what you say you NEED, it changes, transforms and cloaks itself into the whimsical form of whatever your acquisitive mind now thinks is most precious.
As the old man transformed into a dashing blond youth right in front of our eyes, I gaped at the flower which honeysuckle had re-nourished the blood and rejuvenated the bones. No more deep, vicious wrinkles, replaced by ruddy, puckering lips and pink flesh. Stubble dotted the clean jaw where the white wisps used to be. And as the cane fell from the man’s hand, he danced and skipped as if he had been given the energy of a jackrabbit.

This was his families branch but it has been vacant for some time, they had all left, he was the last. looking onward to the sky where his family vanished and eating the occasional leaf filed the void, until one day he felt sleepy. hanging from a branch the small caterpillar slept and dreamt for what seemed an eternity. when he awoke he felt different .. brand new. He was a monster. Once a month that is. Once a month he would undergo the horrid process of transforming from man to beast. he was devastating on the townsfolk. Killing everything in sight. Horrible rumors were spread about him day after day. His reputation would surely be the end of him, if a silver bullet wouldn’t be.
The whole transformation process was crazy. I had no idea how she even thought we could adjust just like that, on a drop of a pen. To change our whole lifestyles, over this one miniscule thing, it’s completely sadistic. I mean, it’s not my fault the business idea collapsed and THAT man, and I’m using this term lightly, broke her heart. Why is it suddenly my fault and I’m the one affected?
transformers are amazing beings. the movies were fantastic and Shia Lebouf is so hot. the fact that they could capture these beings into something to different and makes them role models for children is absoultely spectacular.
I transformed my cousin into a beautiful young lady instead of her tom like self. She was beautiful with a lovely dress. She had sparkly shoes and bright red blood with blue eye shadow. Her smile standing in front of me was lighting up the room.

And I’m a little deaf, so it allows me to wonder what’s going on.

This so-called transformation couldn’t have existed had I not met the people that have and still affect my life. The person who I fell in love with, and friendships that I still keep have opened my eyes in such a short time.
Sure, there are other transformations in my life, with every new step that I take to progress in my lifetime experience; getting my drivers license, graduating high school, getting my first job. But nothing was like going to college, away from my parents, and experiencing the independency without the worries of real life: no bills to pay and nothing to worry about but yourself, and obviously, keeping a good GPA to stay in such place.
Before college, I never believed that there is one person that I can truly love. I was a selfish person prior to meeting the person that changed all that. I don’t know if I was scared to open my heart to others before, but I have now, and I know that I am capable of opening it again after a broken heart. But that has transformed me the most. Not because I love someone other than myself, but I know that i can love others in the same respect that I love myself. That alone is such a great personal achievement.
There was a whole month when I didn’t call home to check on the well-being of my parents, to see how they are, and what is going on in the lackluster and boring hometown in which I hale from. But I definitely know the value of a family through this time of regeneration of sorts. My family will always be here for me, despite my lack of content and that along i value.
Academics took a backseat. I was always the one that would be consciouness about my grades, but school and my GPA seemed irrelevant in the thrill and excitement of my lifrst love, my new formed friendships, and everything around me that was changing. Transfo
