The dog is trained. My lovely Sophie. Elvis was trained. He died about a month ago. It’s the only time I’ve ever seen my father near tears. Afterward, when he walked out of the examination rooms. They put him to sleep. He missed only two birds in his whole career. The lovely dog. The old yeller. He was the hero, the lassie. Everyone loved him.
are we as a society trained to fulfill our roles laid out for us by the norms of the people around us?> are we trained or are we truly free? free to lift off the shackles of conformity and explore our own abilities to self actualize.
to be known of something through hard work and determinsim, somthein i hate to be in something i dislike, like dogs they have to be trained in order to be loved, not loved without being trainde, we have to put them in such a state that is capalbe of our human love, i dont wnat to be trained, or practiced at anything
to hate but not to love. the latter is a matter that you take into your own hands, stand and be your own man, live for the day and not the way that only they think you that ought to stay.
i was trained at the docking station. i was scared to venture out into the blue. Not being around land for miles gave my heart a jump. Jimmy called out my name and i followed onto a nearby ship called “wave”.
he trained that damn horse as if he really and truly cared if he would get out of that town. everyone knew that he wouldn’t. that horse was destined for jello and everyone knew it. except jerry. oh jerry. get a fucking life.
he went dutifully off to one corner the minute he heard a rustling noise in the corridor. and after a few minutes he stepped back into the normal flow of the day’s traffic, oblivious to all around him. then his blackberry beeped. “well trained.”
not wild. what every woman would like her man to be. not adventurous or spontaneous. obedient. what every woman would like her man to be but would get bored of pretty quickly. what men refuse to be. dogs, not cats, some birds.
though we go through life being told to be our own person, we are trained by the authoritative forces in our lives to become pretty little plastic cookie cutter forms of those who have come before us, thus propagating a species of the weakest and least intelligent.
like in the book old yeller i forget the kids name but he trained his dog but one day the dog got rabies so he had to kill it he shot it the dog had a wife and son and in the next movie and book the son is the main character or main dog yesssssssssss i geusssssssssssss
she was deadly and lovely, trained to destroy a man with a glance. She didn’t always like this but, there was something about the training that made it hard to argue. Something about the man who trained her that made the idea seem not so bad, until it was too late for her to undo what he had done
i am not trained well in anything really. except marching band. ive been doing marching band since my freshman year in high school and ive got to say that i have put a lot of hours into “training” for it. band camp is at least 5 days for about 8 hours a day. marching rehearsals in the heat here in tempe. music rehearsals also in the heat now that i think of it. but i wouldn’t really trade it for anything. all the sweat earned me life long friends and lessons. not to mention my boyfriend jesse. hes a drummer. the best:) asu marching band has become so much more organized and talented the past 3 years. jim hudson as the director has made a huge difference.

Humans are trained just as much as animals are, although we’re reluctant to realize it and loathe to admit it. Think about it: when you have a baby, you give it treats when it does good things, and give it punishment when it does bad things. That way, it associates behaving with positive responses, and misbehaving with negative responses. That’s how people train animals as well.
I was trained to be an assassin. I’m not sure why. I never really thought I was quite up to the task. But I was chosen, nevertheless. I’ve changed my name, I’ve changed my face, I’ve changed my voice; but I can never change who I am.
He was trained in the art of self defense, but it soon became the art of killing. In his mind he was a prize fighter, but in his soul he was a killer. He waited for the nights when he could go to the pub and wait for people to drink their faces off. After one beer, one scotch he’d find his mark.

I’ve trained myself to tune out the noise of my life. Having children will do that to you. If you are not able to diffuse or filter extraneous noise, you will, in a word, okay, two, go crazy.
There is nothing better than a well-trained life. Or maybe a well-trained husband. Can’t beat that one with a big stick.
