  17. My eyes flicked open, to meet my safe, familiar ceiling. A stretch of pale white, stained blue in the darkness of the room. The room was warm from the summer air, the blanket held so tight in the winter long since shoved off of my sleeping form. Such settings often invite security. But not on this night. Though the room was warm, my body was frozen, all feelings of safety stolen away by as though taken by a macabre thief in the night.

  22. I was walking down the street and this guy came up behind me and stole my purse, I though ONE thing… THIEF! So I chased him down and tackled him to see where he was going with my purse, turns out he just wanted to fix it. So it took it to a craft store and fixed it. I thanked him a million times and told him that we should meet for coffee. He agreed, and to this day we are friends, friends by fixing up a strangers purse. Man, what a nice guy! One night he came over for dinner, and guess what I saw him doing? Stealing my wallet, he was a scam artiest. JERK!
