  1. “So Bumhaus was your teacher? What was that like?” The young man grumped as he moved a heavy load over to another crate.

  2. i have had the greatest teachers ever. teachers that have motivated me to do better in school, along with teachers that have believed in me and shown me my potential and most importantly teachers that never gave up on me. I will always remember my teachers.

  3. First teacher of mine quit school soon after I graduated from elementary school. She went into beauty business. But that’s not the strangest thing. The strangest thing is that this business streak in her went together with a mystical approach. She learn all sorts of ‘prayers’ and pagan texts to help her affairs.

  4. Other students had their suspicions and they had every right to. Because there was one thing tragically flawed with our student-teacher bond. I loved him and he loved me.

  6. education majors, you know, the ones who are trying to become teachers, are some of the worst students on campus. Few of them enjoy reading, and almost none of them pay attention when you try to teach them something new. They have no love of learning. WTF?

We should just toss the whole “prison system, jr.” ,model out the window and figure out a way to actually teach kids, rather than incarcerate them and test them to death.
Okay, I went over minute a bit there…

  7. Best friend, lover, teacher. You were my seeing eye, the one who saw my flaws and taught me better. You taught me that I was worth it, that I was worth every ounce of your effort; and that made me momentarily happy.

  10. My teacher used to tell me I was special – that I had potential. I believed him for awhile, but now I know he lied. In the real world, potential is nonexistent. You either sell into the mainstream world and sell your soul or you die a poor person with creativity.

  11. Teachers are very righteous people, who are more interested in sharing their knowledge with others than using it for their own selfish purposes.

  12. Jensen woke to silence where once was humming. Then he heard another voice, that of a small child reciting the capitols of the states. Salem, Olympia, Sacramento…And then the Milkmaid’s voice, Very nicely done, Angel. And then the child’s reply, “Thank you, teacher.”

  13. He was the first teacher. When I was younger, and so small my head barely reached his hip, I would follow him everywhere, imitating. Eventually, I grew away from him, became my own person. I was not my father. But I learned from him, and I would not make his mistakes.

  14. The teacher perched in her classroom, eyes narrowed, back bent grading tests completed tediously by students taking her class. Working on something much larger than perceived– to help change at least one child’s life.

  16. Today my teacher did nothing. We worked on our project for the whole entire period, partly because it was 91 degrees in the classroom. What an awful, awful day. I hope it’s colder tomorrow, or I don’t know if I can go to school.

Someone who gives us the knowledge to be the best we can be in life. But more importantly a teacher is a friend, someone who you can rely on and trust to always give you what you deserve, to help you be the best that you can be!!!!!

  19. Everyone is a teacher. My family teaches me about rights and wrongs. My friends teach me how to have fun, and how to enjoy the day. I teach myself the most important things. The ironic thing is, my actual teachers, teach me the things I care least about.

  20. I’ve already done this one but here we go. Learning is the key to my life. I try to learn something from everyone I know. Each person I know is a teacher and teaches me things about life. My friends teach me all about how to be. I learn about myself through others. Therefore, everyone is my teacher. My teachers in school have also taught me a lot but only a select few.

  23. Teachers are the building blocks of today’s society. Everyone’s a teacher and everyone’s a student. So take time today to learn from someone and teach someone something new. It’s impossible to get by in life if you never take the time to look and learn something. Don’t worry about your friends, teach a new thing.

  25. You and all those little brown kids. They don’t reflect your past present or future, an experiment maybe on how to lend a hand or how to accept your privilege like a drink of water.

  26. Tomorrow’s my last day of school, and it’ll be the last time I’ll have some of these people as my teachers. It’s sad, but as a high school student, I know I’ll be seeing them next school year (which may be unfortunate, seeing certain teachers – cough Ms. Feng cough). Everyone’s had a different teaching style to accompany their field, and it’s been a long run, but I’m happy I’ve taken the time to meet some of these teachers (though I will be having the same mathematics teacher and the same English teacher because I’m interning for her); it’s been cool meeting new people in class as well. I’m friends with kids I never thought I’d talk to in a million years.

  27. Teachers make us who we are. They shape our future gradually without concern for themselves, and know that they might never see the outcome of their hard work and dedication.

  28. Physics. History. Delaware was the first state. Do you ever work out? Stop joking about happy hour. It’s sad. I don’t want to hear about your ex-girlfriend who died of cancer. God your life is depressing. How many presidents have we had? Like 44 maybe? Whatever. Electrons. Español.

  29. I wish i could be a teacher to be able to teach the world about the good things in life. How to appreciate life, people, animals, art, everything on Earth. Teachers have a very important role in this world.

  30. My teacher gives me work during the summer. My teacher gives me four books to read. I think that should be illegal. Honestly, why should we have to do work during the summer. I find it rather bothersome. Well, almost done with my first set of notecards for my first book, wish me luck!

  31. How I wanna have a teacher to teach how to live in the world I live, to teach how to deal with feelings and don’t be sad for a love again.

  32. Going into college, I was planning on becoming a history teacher. Took one history class and ditched it lol. Just couldn’t deal with it. I still have to grow up. I have these dreams that I still believe that I’m gonna play baseball for a living. Its a longgg shot I know, but its not out of the question.

  33. The person who encourages one to learn, nurtures the ability to realize one’s goals and find the best in life. The most important profession of all.

  34. my teacher was funny. he made our class laugh. We had funny jokes in that class. My other teachers weren’t as awesome except for one of them. I had two great teachers. They were for European history and drama class. Drama teachers are either great or awful. There is no in between. My mom used to be a teacher. But then she got a different job and met my dad. That’s a good thing. Teaching is hard, I think.

  35. Teachers are a very hard-working and underappreciated lot, in private schools at least. I was on good terms with most of my teachers growing up, and they respected me in king. The other kids were malcontents and refused to consider things from their teachers’ perspectives. I supposed that just showcases the closed-mindedness that they harbored on their part.

  36. I makes me so happy to be a teacher– a yoga teacher that is. To realize that I have the opportunity to sculpt people’s mindsets, how they feel about themselves and how they interpret the world; to know for 75 minutes they’re willing to let me in, to help them, to share with them what I’ve drawn in– that’s a beautiful thing.

  37. I have this one teacher for science and i absolutely hate her, she looks like a poodle is an awful teacher. She gets way too distracted and has too many hissy fits. Ive yelled at her twice this year, and she wont stop. So glad the year is ending.

  38. My teachers never really taught me that much about the subjects of the classes I was in. Rather they taught me about people, how I can relate, those basics of life that are important for everyone. My books taught me the material, my teachers just tested me on it. I hope that some day they can be proud of what little they did because it made the biggest difference to me.

  39. I feel i am a teacher and a healer. I teach people to take care os themselves by learning about their bodies by listening to their bodies. I teach my students how to go deeper to the places in the body where stress lingers and to the places where we harbour old ideas, emotions & resentments.

  40. Teacher

I liked so few of my teachers. It’s not that I didn’t like them really. It’s that so many of them didn’t know what they were doing. In grade school that was frustrating. I mean if they didn’t want to be there why should I? But by the time I got to college? Seriously? I was paying for an education and I knew more than most of my professors? – Aggravating.

(Again, this is not to say all teachers are like this. I just had a bunch of duds! I also had a few that were inspirational. But very few.)
