  1. Tables are good for putting things on. You can also put chairs under and around them. I have a bed side table beside me. On it is a lamp and a book and some magazines. Kitchens have tables and families eat at them. It is a great place to have a conversation or play a board game. Tables are flat and good for resting your elbows on. Tables typically have four legs.

  5. They always said that the tables would turn. I never believed them. I always felt like you’d all be kind to me and that we would be friends forever. But then, I started realizing things. I noticed the lies and the deception. Soon the hate began and I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to think. All I knew was that the tables had turned.

  9. I put a lot of things on a table. Especially what I don’t want to get dirty. i don’t know what it is about them, but it makes me feel like everything has a place. Even though you can just splay all your junk out on it. It belongs there. Somewhere on a table. Just like we all do. In life, it’s a mess, but we belong there somewhere.

  10. I hid beneath them as a child, staring out from between the wooden legs and into the crotches of the adults above them. Then as I grew, I joined their ranks at the tables. There was always food and laughter and conversation, and then when I became a teenager it was replaced by the TV. Such is life.

  12. Tables are undoubtedly fantastic. They are amazing, and I love them with all of my heart. I never want to witness the horrors that some tables have had to endure. They hold all items we need, never complaining, but we still have the nerve to kill them. And give them up. I love them;.

  15. Live on it and eat on it. Stack things on it and then clean it. Move it from room to room and forget about it. Clean it and put things on and off of it. Leave it alone for months then clean it again.

  16. I have tables in my house, tables in my classroom. I just can’t seem to get rid of them. They are the price I pay for letting my Aunt Rita live with me for the year. Her husband just died, and she was lonely all the way out in Arizona, so I let her come live up here with me in New York.

  17. Tables come in all shapes and sizes…I personally prefer large tables mainly because they can seat all the family and friends you may have. I personally find the french style most attractive and charming. They are light and airy and not as heavy as their counterpart the Spanish style.s

  33. I remember freshman year when I was that weird kid who used to sit under tables. I had friends join me, but the teachers and other kids still thought it was weird. Funny as hell though seeing the expression on my science sub’s face when me and my friend used to do that. She used to hate us. :)
