There is always snails walking around being pets with leashes. It makes me sick they leave their slim residue everywhere.! I somtimes lick it up so there is no mess.

  8. I never knew what substance abuse meant. After all, I might have been only five or six. But, one day when my teacher asked me if I needed to see the counsellor, and I asked why, and she said because my father had just died of substance abuse and she wanted to know if I felt all right. I told the counsellor my father was a good man, but the neighbourhood was making a big deal of his death by tsk-tsking. “It’s the substances,” I told her.

  10. Es gibt viele verschiedene Substanzen. Eigentlich ist alles Substanz, fest, flüssig oder gasförmig, stark riechend oder geruchsneutral, kratzend oder weich, hart oder flexibel. Welche Substanz mag ich am meisten? Essbare Substanzen, glaube ich. Es wäre praktisch, wenn man mit Essen bauen könnte und Baustoffe essen.

  11. I think of my Chemistry classes and how I was so bad at it, that it wasn’t even funny. I think of all the internal struggle I had to go through to drop it and do what I am doing now. I think about my life. I think about how I love what I’m doing now. Because words, they add substance to my life.

  12. Substances are the building blocks to the life we know today. How could anything exist without being made up of substance? Air, for one, is still substance. It floats around and is invisible to the eye, but yet, it is still substance. Just the idea of such a profound invisible particle making up each and every one of us is confounding. How could anyone live while knowing there is a whole world out there that we are blinded to?

  15. substances are such liquids or just a matter of lifeform which intertwines with another type of mass or liquid. If mixed together with another element, whether fro mthe periodic table or some rocksalt it creates a reaction chemical or just plain reaction.
