  3. Spring reminds me of when little kids get to lay in a fresh bed of flowers and the weather is warm. The wind is blowing softly and the birds are singing. Spring also brings back memories of spring break during school days and some work weeks.

Another thing spring reminds me of is the action word. (To spring. He springs into action.) To spring means to jump. EX: He had a spring in his step.

    Warmth in my frozen bones,

  8. spring makes me think of the painting “la primavera” that I saw in Ancient History my freshman year of high school. Spring makes me think of silk, breeze, trees, grass, growth. Spring is the season of life, love, beauty and renewal. Spring is a time of grwoth and innocence. Children play in the mud and adults play in the rain.

    by Abby Ferguson on 10.12.2011
  9. The life cycle of every living thing revolves around springtime. Whether that life cycle actually relies on the season for rebirth and regrowth or not, Spring represents the beauty that is the cycle of life itself. It reminds us that all living things can become new again.

  10. the time to enjoy life what is spring? If there is a moment in our life that defines the sheer joy of happiness, peace, and calamity, it would be spring. The fluid wsof life flowing, the sun and spirits rising earlier every day. Of ow I wish it would be spring again….

  11. I like springtime. It’s a pretty time of the year, when flowers begin to bloom and the sounds of birds echo in the early morning. One thing I love about spring is that with spring comes the end to the school year and the start to a fresh, new summer. Besides flowers, there is rain in the spring. I like the rain.

  12. spring
    many things does it bring
like long days of pouring rain
with the releasing of frosted pain

  13. a season of rebirth, of newness, the promise of summer; to vault with a power within; to absorb and renew one’s position.

  14. Spring: rain and sunshine, growth and music. But what is spring really about? To the student, spring is the time to begin tediously studying. End-of-year tests approach and there is no time to waste. Grades must make miraculous jumps and projects await completion. The drowsy senior strains to stay awake, grades must stay up, college dauntingly draws near. The “real world” will soon be entered. Spring is not the time for beginning, but the time for finishing.

  15. In the spring, everything seems so new. I know its cliche, but even love seems to blossom. I feel so much flirtier, does that only apply to me? It might be that Valentine’s Day has just passed, I don’t know. I just know that I need a boyfriend. I need a life, something to do with this daggone love!!

  16. Spring is a lovely season, with flowers blooming and birds hatching. Everything renewed. Then why did I feel like it was winter in my soul. Desolate, and lonely, not at all like the cheerful scene outside my window.

  20. Spring. A time of renewal, of rebirth. A time when love begins to blossom and flourish. But it’s winter now and my heart has frozen over. And spring is nowhere in sight to thaw the ice that fills the lonely void in my heart that you left. Come back love, please won’t you? Can’t we start anew this spring?

  21. she rose up and there were leaves on her pillow, and in bare feet she pranced around the meadow, cream silk swaying in the warmest of breezes. flowers tickled her face and small robins chirped. instead she got up and put on her slippers, then stripped and stepped into the streaming shower.

  23. light light in the trees
and the new shoes no need for socks in the spring
    unless it rains
    which is usually does
so spring is in fact fall
    but with new shoes
    and more green
and the hopeful look on everyone’s face
that it will be warm soon
    and we can wear sandals
    spring
    knee deep in puddles
    sandals on
    we insist spring has sprung

I mean, it was spring…I mean, it IS spring…and we, well, the world went berzerk and nuked itself into a death spiral, and I came home and I found you in the garden and you were wearing your red shoes and I took you to the porch and we sat there as the debris and snow fell, well actually it’s not snow…” Jensen stumblingly explained.

“Garden?” she asked again. “What garden?”

  26. Spring is at the beginning of the year. The daffodils come out and the flowers. In the spring the snow melts and runs down the side of the street. Slush. Small plastic discs run down the street in the water. Who will win? Under the snowbank and out the other side.

  33. The time of year when all things are reborn and flowers bloom, grass turns green again before the brown and death that comes with the frying heat of summer afternoons. A time for new beginnings and overcoming the coldness that has been left in us from a gray winter and cloud covered days. Rain washes the dirt and grime hidden under six inches of brown snow and the air warms. Weaters, jeans, and layers of fat come off and we wake up again for the first time in months.
