  11. Shape, form, structure…
She had no shape, but flowed from herself to me, formless and free. I loved her more because she dared to be structureless.
I built my own structure from iron, stronger and stronger until I realized that it resembled a cage around me.
And only her shapeless soul could slide inside.

  15. Though everyone was nothing but shapes against the dark, dimly lit by the camp fire, she still could feel their eyes upon her as she twisted and turned, writhing to the rhythm of heavy drums and flutes. The night sky cast more light from stars and the moon than the fire proper, causing sequins to shimmer brightly.

  16. big, small, short tall, fat wide. Everyone on the planet is concerned about their shape and size. Everyone. I don’t care if you say you don’t, thats always a lie. But the truth is, nobody who really matters cares about your shape. If they’re your friends then they won’t care if you’re big and wide or built like a stick. Quoting Dr. Suess “A persons a person no matter how big or how small” or he said something like that. Although my quote might be wrong there’s a point I’m trying to make here. A shape is just a shape, you can change it and alter it all you want but it doesn’t make any difference to the ones who love you for you.

  22. I am not in shape. In shape is something that you call a marathon runner who has been training for months. In shape is someone whose gut doesn’t extend over past the pants waistband. 23. When geometry was all I cared about in life, I feared that I may slip into a nightmare of shapeless sights. Where perfect boundaries and corners are nonexistent and I am forced to wander my formless world in hopes of finding something concrete and secure.

I guess when it’s put that way, I don’t resent it as much as if it were ‘get a salad’… it’s a nice lil sentence steeped in the charade that it’s for my health…

Silly boy. You know better.

  33. I don’t quite know what to write, all I think about when I hear the word shape is geometry class. God, I hated that class. I just can’t wrap my head around the idea that lines go on forever and that points have no shape and size. I hated right triangles, angles and pi.

  34. Anything can take a shape. A shape can be anything. Circle, square, triangle, you name it. Geometry is a key figure. We shape things to make them better, yet that isn’t always the case. Our own shape is important. It must be perfect. But like other shapes, it isn’t.
