  5. Roller skates were never my good friend. I couldn’t really skate, but I didnt fall every second. But i pretended I sucked, and he held my hand. I love you roller skates.

  6. The roller rink was long abandoned, an empty memory of a past time. The adults drove by slowly, watching the decaying bits of their past fall to bits. Everything was gone now, every ounce of happiness drained out of their life. Now, it was all accounts and finances. There was no more laughter.

  11. I used to love to rollerblade. I don’t know when that got away from me. Maybe it was the summer I moved to some god forsaken dustbowl that had no paved roads or sidewalks. Damn dirt roads! Damn them all! :D

  15. I loved roller blading as a kid. The best part was feeling the wind rush through my hair and whip across my face when I went really fast. That’s why I never wanted to wear a helmet. Fortunately enough I never got in any crashes. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I fell.

  22. It was a cigarette roller. Why in the world would a 13 year old girl have a cigarette roller? The mother was concerned. Her daughter shouldn’t be smoking cigarettes! And where would she even be able to get one of these things, let alone learn how to use it? Maybe she should have paid more attention.

  23. When I was 11 I met a stylish second cousin who had the same name as me. I asked her how she got her hair to look so great. She said she used orange juice cans as hair rollers. I wanted to know how she could sleep in them, and she said that she slept on her face. Her hair was great, but I wonder what her face looks like now.

This year my class went roller skating for a trip and me and my best friend held hands the entire time so we wouldn’t fall over, a lot of the girls were doing this, however the immature boys thought it was funny and were trying to knock the girls down.
