To be shouted and be heard through the hallows of the trees. Desperately trying to break free from the encasement I have built around it. But I can’t. I have I have locked it inside, fearing it might destroy me, but now I fear that I, myself am the one destroying myself.

  11. The roar of the lion was deafening indeed. I thought that I would fell off the back of the truck as we approached the entrance to the zoo when we visited it on my vacation. It was however a most satisfying moment indeed as we stood in front of the cage and viewed the animals from a safe distance.

  17. It starts as a growl, persistent and rumbling within my ribcage. It wants to get out, warning me like a volcano before it erupts. Then it comes, sudden and forceful, with a roar that makes me want to cover my ears and clutch at my heart. It spills out from me, all that was life pouring out of my body and pooling around me like blood. I don’t even utter a sound. I’m unable to. My breath is caught, while my life flows around me, spreading away. I am drained and empty. The golden warmth that once filled my heart has now been replaced by a hollowness that only a book with its content ripped out and leaving it useless would know.

  38. So i was at the zoo the other day an saw many types of animals. One that was most impressive was the lion, he had a tremendous roar! It scared my little one so much I had to convince him forever to go back and see the lions before we left. Now what do you think of that? a roar so loud? I went camping once at african lion safari and woke up to the sound of the lions roaring, amazing.
