  1. She gazed at the world with innocent wide eyes and a perfect haircut, wearing those frilly clothes that her mother picked out for her.
She said the right things, did the right things. But she never forgot.
And one day she came home with those pretty eyes lined in black and leather and holes everywhere.
We all have the ability to revolt.

  2. “It was just one little hit,” she told herself as she buckled over with pain. Her head simultaneously lost weight and slammed back, like three panes of wood sliding to the back of a truck bed. With a tight clutch of her abdomen, she crashed to the floor. With the smack of her kneecaps and a hurling motion forward, felt a rush of warm liquids spew from her mouth.

  3. Remain calm. I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more.

The revolution will not be televised.

  4. It’s time to revolt. I’ve had enough. I’m sick of this. I’m sick of what I see in the mirror. It’s time to take back the person I know is in there somewhere. It’s time to make myself win. I know I can beat this. I know I can make this happen. My dream is out there and it’s time for me to reach that ultimate goal. Time is now.

  8. Revolt, to not go with the norm. to create something different. I don’t really know the word, but it’s okay. Six letters two syllables. The world rolls off your tongue, soft and sweet. The color of the word this rose pink, makes me happy.

  10. Revolt. Rebellion. The dragons of different colors united to revolt against the government. How ironic that maybe at one time in human history, gangs were feared by the public. Now, they were the salvation representing what was right and good–freedom. I felt I was the only one who questioned the future: a world without a government but ruled by gang lords…

He cringed and shrank back under the barrier and shut his eyes tight against the wall of extreme heat and the stench from the burning corpse, which, oddly enough, was still standing, staging a revolt of its own it seems. Just then, his body revolted and he threw up his entire breakfast of bangers and mash.

  14. I dont really know what this word means, because nowadays no one uses it. We sit in our private homes and read nice magazine articles that do or don’t inform us…and we sit. and we sit. and here i am typing on my computer that was made using labor exploitation

  16. The angry child stomped around the house like a raging Tyrannosaurus Rex. “I WANT MY TOY!” he screamed, desperate to win the battle waging between his infantile nature and the calm, patient personality of his mother. However, she wouldn’t forget this attempt at revolt.

  17. revolt. the word stuck in my brain like a polyp growing branches and feathery tendrils reaching into the farthes corners of my conciousness. would it even be possible in my current state of mind to consider such insurrection? suppose if I garnered enough support it would be plausible. but so many people seem to like his company. seem to find him amusing or charming. why is it only me that sees his true nature of obnoxious self absorbed idiocy? he needs to be overthrown entirely. If they can’t see it well then I’ll just have to convince them. perhaps a persuasive essay. i’ve been told i am pretty adept at those. but i suppose his judgement matters little seeing as i put no stock in his point of view. maybe if I had even one iota of respect for the man, those forty minutes might be tolerable if not enjoyable.

  23. There are those little things, the revolt within the soul, that come first. Before the heartbreak or the faint whisper of a storm in progress, there’s that little revolt – and that must be the saddest part. The heart knows, as it so often does, what will occur before the tragedy hits.

  26. My headphones are a little large on my head, but what I am to expect from a pair of 10 year old hand-me-downs? It’s cold, but I’m sweating. I’m anxious. This molotov cocktail seems to only get heavier. I’m headed downtown, and I know exactly what I’m going to do. I’m joining in that student revolt for… that cause…what was that cause, again?

  40. I wish as many people hated the school system the way I do. That way we could stage a full-scale revolt. I mean, I guess realistically even if enough people did hate school as vehemently as I do a revolt probably wouldn’t come of it, but I always have a lot of fun imagining it, I can’t lie about that. I just love images of several likeminded people rising up against oppression, especially when they’re teens with brains in their heads rather than their genitals.
