  1. I am soon to return
to that land that i dread
that land that doesn’t belong to me
in which i used to reside

  5. the return was easy, the going was hard. the thick windows and red, half-open doors banging in the wind. the gaps in faces, chips in bricks like air was stealing crumbs of life at every second. how do you hold it all back? where are the barriers. do they exist? it is all too easy to go.
