  12. A reader is someone who likes to read books. It doesn’t really matter what kind of book it is or who wrote the book. I do not consider myself to be a good reader. It takes me a long time to read and sometimes I have to go back and reread the passage in order to fully understand what it is saying. I only like to read about things that have happened or could happen. They are the most interesting genres for me to read. I have a hard time reading fiction stories that are unbelievable. I liek to be able to realate to the characterst too. I really like to read stories of people who have overcome some obstacle in their lives.

  14. I was a reader, and that was all I knew. Maybe I couldn’t talk to people normally, couldn’t carry a conversation or be funny or witty or headstrong. But i could read, I could open up a book and be inside it, breathe it, in a way that many other people could not understand. I could see the words and become them, wrapped in them, and be taken away into a world that I was not, could never, be in. Maybe I was awkward, plain, whatever. But I was a reader. If nothing else, I had that.

  15. Who holds more power, the writer or the reader? Surely it must be the writer, for he makes the words what they are. But the reader determines how they are perceived, the final outcome. Truly he is god.

  16. A reader of books, ever since I was old enough to read, which in my case, was 3 and a half years old. I learned from TV – Zoom, Electric Company, Sesame Street. I got that they were trying to show me something, and I learned it. My mom was surprised the day she discovered I knew how to read. I think my mom read us bedtime stories too.

  17. The reader. The man who determines the true outcome and perspective of the characters. Nothing short of a god.

The thing is, dear reader, that without you, these words would pretty much go untold, as nobody would be able to see them for them to be told, if I make any sense whatsoever. So, dear reader, whatever you may say, however you may criticise – I appreciate you.
