  4. Oh, an ode to a pretzel would be something indeed,
An ode so beautiful that all should read.
Delightful and crunchy, and salty to taste,
Something so delicious that all should try at least once,
For without the delicious instant no bliss will ring true,

  6. She couldn’t reconcile it. She could get past so many things, but not this. How does a New Yorker not love pretzels? She knew in her heart it was over. Brad nibbled at his bag of chips. He had no idea what was about to happen.

  7. I like pretzels. My dad buys big jugs of them somewhere. We used them in a skit during a pretzel commercial. We made a funny song about it.

  8. What is this word about? I never heard such word. It is either a joke or my vocabulary is not that perfect. Though I would love to learn new words and understand english further. I like it.

  9. I don’t like pretzels, and every single time my best friend and I get together, she offers them to me. She can eat a whole bag by herself but she always tells her mom that WE ate them. Her mother now offers them to me, as well. She also offers me apple juice. I do not like apple juice, but ever since she moved away, when I spend time with her mother, she says “There’s apple juice in the fridge for you.” You’ve got to be kidding.

  19. Pretzel is an amazing treat that I enjoy eating. I enjoy the soft warm pretzels most, not the hard crunchy ones. The cheese makes it more enjoyable making the pretzel’s warmth over whelm my mouth. YUM YUM YUM! I eat them every time I go to the mall. If only people knew how much I loved pretzels, and how unhealthy they actually are.

  22. I ate my pretzel from Auntie Anne’s after breaking up with my boyfriend from Peru, it was a sad time for me and after saying that I would never eat fast food again, I broke down. Now after twenty six years, I am living in a pretzel house…alone….with no hubby or boy friend and i regret breaking up with him for my dog who is now dead from old age…damn you pretzel, damn you.

  23. I remember eating pretzels over at summers house. she would have an entire bag and by the time we got done with our silly move marathons, they would be gone. Gone, gone, gone. They kind of bring back good memories. Maybe not. Pretzels make me think of parties. And parties remind me of Wednesday. And I really messed up Wednesday. Maybe, I don’t know.

  24. I remember going to baseball games and always wanting to get the pretzels. You know, the ones that are covered with salt? Or even the ones with cinnamon. I never knew they had those until I went swimming with a friend one summer. The place we went had a consession stand and they served pretzels. The cool thing about these were the fact that were covered with cinnamon and sugar. I do believe that those were the best pretzels I’ve ever had.

  25. My husband can eat an entire box of Snyder of Hanover pretzels in an evening—that’s 1400 calories of white bread carbs! The odd ting is, he never seems to gain any weight. I hate him. I eat one and, well, you know where it goes…

  26. Pretzels are a thing of my childhood. I hated and craved them. My dad would eat them with mustard while watching Nascar. Brianna loves pretzels. Especially chocolate covered pretzels. When I was little it was tradition to dip pretzels in melted chocolate. My fingers would hurt after finishing. Carol’s project in fourth grade was an Indian village made entirely of pretzels. My dad did the whole thing. Pretzel sticks are much more delicious than the curvy ones.

  27. I can’t eat pretzels too much salt sadly, but I do think they’re a rather pretty shape and come in nice tones of brown: pity they crack so loudly.

  28. I constantly tye myself up into a human pretzel. Creating problems by twisting and contorting my life into unfathomable positions. I rub salt on wounds to increase the flavor.

  29. Oh how I love pretzels. The soft ones. Or the ones covered in chocolate. That sweet salty flavor. Plus how they twist them. Its one of those classics that never chaged and never should.

  30. I love pretzels. I think everyone does. Hence the episode of the office where everyone goes downstairs to wait for their free soft pretzel. I’m pretty sure Michael Scott orders “the works” which has everything on it.

  31. I dont really like pretzels because they are very bland. But i guess you have little choice when in a flight that’s all you are gonna get to eat. Pretzels if i remember correctly are Jewish food. I wonder if they would have added a little spice or variety of tastes to it.

  32. A pretzel is a loop of something that forms a pretzel shape. It’s not a shape you can describe easily. Pretzels remind me of Wetzel’s Pretzels, a store in the mall nearby. It’s got yummylicious pretzels and a kind of glaze that tastes super yummy on the pretzels. Thinking about this is making me hungry, because I just came from lunch, but I didn’t eat anything. I don’t know why I didn’t eat anything. Probably because I didn’t want to go wait in line and leave the table I was sitting at. If I left, I would have to be parted from my friends for a few valuable minutes. Just now, I looked at my fingers, as I often do when I’m typing or reading or doing something with my hands, and saw my brightly colored, Winnie the Pooh band-aid. I hurt myself yesterday. I’m not quite sure how, because I wasn’t paying attention when it happened and I didn’t notice until it started to bleed and sting a little. It’s a scrape on the knuckle of my right hand. After the band-aid, I see my bracelets, a bunch of silly bands. I’m wearing a fox, a pirate, a skull-and-crossbones, a superman logo, a boot, a giraffe, and a dinosaur.

  33. I did something crazy, followed my instincts. It was a grand gesture, involving a tambourine, as so many do. I was excited at the time, but now the package is “out for delivery”. My gut, which is trusted, is twisted up like a Bavarian treat. Ah, love.

  34. Delicious. Warm, soft, chewy.

    Dipped in chocolate, wonderful.

    Baseball games, childhood. Gramma’s house.

salty, sometimes I wish the world was pretzels.

  36. I like pretzels. They can be small or they can be big. Sometimes you put cheese on them. Other times you can eat a handful at a game. Pretzels are a good source of salt. There are a lot of stories about how pretzels were originally made.

  37. So there I was. Waiting. Thinking of what could possibly go wrong with this.
    Waiting.
There, I thought about everything Id done so far. My career, family friends.
    All I hoped to achieve.
But by taking that piece, that small pretzel,
    by breaking a diet, i died.choked.

  38. Their arms interlocked like a pretzel.
Sitting next to the red barn,
as she bled from the wounds
    that he just couldn’t stop.

  40. I love to go to the mall, or anywhere else that serves them, and get a hot pretzel. A regular pretzel is a good anytime snack, too. There’s just something special about that hot, doughy, salty treat. The way they melt in your mouth… yum!
