  6. If only I could have predicted the outcome of that last test – I would have changed so much. Although, hindsight allows me to think this way – would I have actually changed the direction my life took, had I been able to predict?

  7. The new girl in my class was as creepy as ever, her blonde hair tinged with green highlights still greasy with oil. She wore heavy make-up that made her look like a clown. A creepy clown. She’d probably scare the kindergartners to death. For one scary moment, she looked at me, as if sensing that I was staring at her. I quickly looked away and started fiddling with my fingers.
She’ll probably be the least popular girl in my school, but I don’t think she cares. I can already predict her “future” with my intuition. I’m kind of good at that, so I trust that. But who knows? I just know that I have a feeling that she’s going to creep me out for the rest of the school year.
    *Truly fictional.

did somebody predict for me that i would be suffering for the whole life. i’m not going to let it happen.
i’ll ensure i’ll make my life worth to live for and my future worthy of my present.
predictions are not definite to happen unless one is ready to do what’s necessary to make them happen.

  13. If he could predict that this day would come, he probably would have never responded to the handsome face of his next door neighbor that day they first met. But he hadn’t been able to see into the future. He wasn’t a gypsy and he didn’t know what was going to happen. How Nick would lead his life or treat him for the rest of his life… But this is how his life goes and this is how it always goes. He always messes up and does things that sets himself up for failure. And now he’s screwed.

  14. I predicted that the world would come to an end when my statistics teacher would stop drinking coffee and smoking. We still don’t know if it’s true, because it’s not verifyable. He doesn’t stop. Ever.

  16. It it hard to predict what the weather will be like every day, It is even harder to predict with any certainty about hurricanes also. I do not envy the weather man for getting it wrong sometimes, I consider it a blessing when that happens.

  17. you can’t predict the future, you can only wait to see what the future holds. It’s scary to think about what might come, but sometimes you just have to live in the moment.. take things day by day and live your life. Love every minute of it.

  18. “I see she is still with you”, Suzanne’s frown was unimstakable. I was unsure of what to say or do, Drake was still silent and I started to think that may be he wasn’t fully back after all. It was impossible to try and predict what they would do next.

  21. “What in bloody hell are you doing over there?” I ask from the bed, Jacob folded up on the floor with his face scrunched unattractively (which is quite an accomplishment for him since he seems to annoyingly always look like he walked straight from a teen vogue magazine) in concentration.
“Predicting the future.” He says briskly and his eyes flick to mine and twinkle mischievously before flitting closed again.
I eye him then shift my homework and books laying across my lap like a perverse blanket of some sort so that I can rest my elbows against my knees and fix my best you’re-completely-dumb-and-you-really-should-be-helping-me-work-on-this-homework-because-we-were-(too my complete and utter detestment)- partnered-together-against-our-will look. “Uh-huh, I see, and may I ask what the future holds?” I ask him after a moment.
He opens his eyes again and either ignoring my pointed stare or maybe because he’s just that thick, he smirked and whispered in a mysterious voice pricking with sarcasm, “Well, its a little hazy but I’m definitely getting a lot of visions of us. Together. Weird considering I completely dislike you.”

  22. This word is about the future. About what hasn’t yet happened. It doesn’t have a meaning. It can mean anything, anything at all. Anything is possible. You could predicate weather, lovelives, lottery numbers. Whatever you want. The power Is In your hands.

  32. I hate the uncertainty of things. I want to be able to KNOW how things are going to turn out, instead of a simple “prediction” or “guess” at your future. Why can’t life be filled with more certainty, why can’t I have enough courage to just live life without the fear of the outcomes?

  36. Will predicting ever end? I predict not.
Once a prediction comes true, is it still a prediction?
I predict that answers can’t be answered.
Then what is the use of predictions or the comfort of one?
For we should at least try to feel the moment,
But what of those who can only live in the future?
