  1. His name was Frederick Dawson. He was a good-looking, silver fox of a physician. His eyes were bright blue and his hair was salt and pepper. He smiled like his heart was made of sugar and candy.

  2. A plumber. One of my biology professors once told me that all doctors are just “plumbers for humans.” To a certain extent, he’s totally right. Modern physicians are just plumbers, fixing leaks and creaky pipes and snapping noises in strange places. Unfortunately, like my prof, most people discount the human aspect of the physician – that the leaky pipes are in a perfectly human body, not a kitchen sink.

  3. as someone who knows how to heal
can he take this misery like how painkillers do
    like how surgeries happen
just a few hours of pain
    then the worst is over.

  4. The Physicians is a thatre piece where there’s random people in a mental hospital murdering some other people. They claim to be Newton or Einstein or such stuff, and then they sit around for the second half of the piece and talk drinking tea.

    Masterpiece.

  5. Pyysician is a noun or a verb?

  6. A physician
    checked my physical health
Asked me how much I weighed
    I said something
    He believed me
    But I lied
    Determined I was ok
    I thought so too
    Or maybe not
    Was I happier then?
    Perhaps,
    Less baggage to carry
    same rules
    every storey
    fresh rules
    young jury
    Are you ok?
    Sure thing.

  7. The physician of Shadow Land was a short, quabby old man close to retirement. He was looked down by his colleges and forgetd by society. Working in the red lamp district of the city was not easy. He was not given any gratuities from prostitutes, pimps, hooligans, drug dealers, hobos or the homeless people. Still, he would not change his clientele for all the treasure of the world. Looking back his working forty years, it was a time full of struggle and sad or frightening stories. And full of real gratitude from his patients. Here, the physician mattered. He has really made a difference.

  8. The physician looked at the dull, white wall opposite her blankly. It was getting boring, the same routine every day. I mean, it isn’t bad to help people, of course not! It’s just that, well, she wanted some change.

  9. it’s so hard to imagine
one day i’ll be saved from the pain
of the day out of days
    it’s so hard to imagine
the memories will stay the same
of the day out of days
    so heal me, physician
my heart is sick and i’d rather be saved
    then thrown away
with the day out of days

  10. Going to the doctor is no fun at all and I still avoid it whenever feasible but weighing in doesn’t evoke the fear that it used to. My weight-loss journey, minus 54.5 lbs and counting, is going pretty well except for falling into the dreaded pool of stagnancy.Time to get moving again!

  12. I thought about being a physician for a while…it follows the Indian thing to do and I really do care about people. But the health profession is just too long of a way and I’m more interested in the mental health aspect of caring for people. I hate how accepted that the

  13. Above all, do no harm–so goes the Physician’s Hippocratic oath.
Unfortunately, the same does not go for insurers, or corrupt government types–or Republicans. What we see now is a mockery of the very concept of healing, a mockery of “care.”

  14. The lawyer and the physician met in a bar on 25th and Abbey. They drank from steel pipes, and they belched out fuel exhaust. The lawyer had returned from a court case two blocks away, and the physician had had to give a patient the “bad news.” The “good news” would have been death, but it couldn’t be that way. Not in this country.
