  1. Don’t pause. Don’t linger. If we linger we will fail. Don’t fail me now. Don’t hinder. I need you closer than you are. Just a breathe and a pause and all we ever hoped for disappeared in a matter of moments.

    by Miss Miller on 07.25.2009

  6. a pause.

    hesitation.

she glances at him. he stares back mildy, as if what he has just said is nothing more than a remark on the weather, instead of…

    “me too,” she says.

“Are you sure?” She asked me again, that smooth voice the last I’d ever hear.
“Yes Jess, I’m sure. Now do it.” I closed my eyes, and waited.
Her hand moved, a flash of steel all you could see.
They lied. Nothing was beautiful, and everything hurt.

    by Talya on 07.25.2009
  9. we pause too often in our daily lives.
to contemplate things, sometimes ones we have no control over.
its pointless most of the time.
all we ever do is wonder why, it seems.
pausing to appreciate the beauty in life is the best, I suppose.

  12. Pause. Playback…. I kept pushing the buttons on the VCR but I couldn’t get the damned thing to work. I hate these old machines most of the time, but I could see what Mr. Garibaldi values in them. There’s something to be said about a man who puts so much stake in items of the past.

    by Matthew on 07.25.2009
  13. please pause, real quick. Think about what you’re about to do. I know your drunk, so am I, but please, don’t sleep with him tonight. I’m you’re best friend and was told to cock block because everyone knows you’re heart-broken and bound to make bad decisions…

    I’m also just jealous.

    by Jayne on 07.24.2009

One moment of silence, that all that’s left.

    take a breath

    “Will you marry me?”

  40. to stop at a point where you can resume, when life is itself you pause to the daybreak to dream of the outcome of the choices you make yet you never will actually see the outcome since the pause will only cause havoc to what you are doing, thus it is a harmol thing.
