  2. Paperclips are really good for holding together documents that you don’t want to staple. i use paperclips because i don’t want to attach stuff together. they provide flexibility and that’s a good thing. i like paperclips because they’re not about a full commitment. it’s a test to decide whether you want a permanent attachment. that’s a good analogy for life. some people should be like paperclips.

  4. I really love paperclips. I’ve used a lot of them this last week. Mainly because it was finals week in college. I organized my papers and lectures and homework by organizing them into piles and them paperclipping them. It helps to appease my stress and nerves by starting with a lot of little piles and then slowly but surely getting to a few papers. Only studying a few papers is a lot more relaxing than a lot of piles, it’s like seeing your studying diminish before your eyes which is reassuring and made me feel prepared.

  6. Paperclips never sounded like a complicated utensil. But I was proven wrong quickly. I remember, all too recently, I went to a leadership retreat for students. Well, it was more like the arrogant big-shots of my school community that liked to boss others around. I’d like to pretend I wasn’t one of them, the rare few who had actually been invited rather than applying, but I’d be lying. I really worked to get into this retreat, sending forms, resumes, recommendation letters, promises of my arms/legs. What not.
Anyways, the first activity of the morning, upon arrival, even before the coffee and water bottles were served, was to reach into a paper bag, pull out whatever we described first, and somehow compare ourselves to it. It took three people for the group to realize the bag was filled with paperclips.

  10. Paper clips nothing. Clips clips paper together and makes sure they don’t fly around wreaking havoc to some of your important work.

If Paper could clip, stationery shops wouldn’t do as much business and an entire industry of clips would suffer.

“Love…” She cooned lacing her arms around his neck as she pulled her mouth up to his ear and whispered something, her cheek pressed gently against his, his hands roaming down to the small of her back causing the woman to arc into his frame, pressing tightly to him as if for survival.
“I love you too, Helena.” He finally said slowly the words seeming to have trouble rolling off his tongue.

  33. paperclips are the bane of my existence. they are never there when i really need them, but always strewn about and more often than not, stuck together in ways which are impossible to detangle. then, when i actually do use one, perchance, they never keep my things bundled… papers inadequately kept together by a loose clip fall to the floor, and it’s usually the one most important – the last or the first. give me a staple anytime.

With a sly smile, Leon slipped the makeshift piece of jewelry onto my wrist and turned me to face him. “You said that you didn’t need flashy jewelry to be impressed with me, so I thought that I would make do with whatever I could find. It’s just not right to leave a girl without something pretty to wear…”

  39. I have this adorable jar of paper clips on my shelf back in my dorm – a place that increasingly feels more like home than the place I spent my childhood. The jar is little and perfectly round, with a nice dark pink lid. It is filled with colorful paper clips. I once made a bracelet out of the pink ones to remind myself not to eat. It hasn’t worked, though.

    At least not yet.

  40. I saw those paperclips for the first time last evening. Teh twists and turns tehy took in making that shape intrigued me. i was in love with them and their myriad colours. i could have used them for many things. To hold paper together, to hold hearts together and maybe bind the entire universe in one long stretch of paper love. The potential was infinite! The paperclips began speaking to me, of a life so miserable for them that they weren’t keen on living it anyomre .From the core of the earth as its ore, they had been cast into this bent shape and here I was appreciating their beauty. Its no beauty being a paperclip the pink one said, its a curse! Promise to help us out of this life, said the red one!
