  1. I feel as if I’ve been misunderstood my entire life. You ever feel like people just pretend to understand you and where you’re coming from. Not many people that I know can relate to my experiences – not the ones that really matter: rape, abuse, emotional death, basically. It’s like they try and try but will never fully grasp what I’ve been through. So yeah, you might say that I’ve been misunderstood. Hell, I might as well write a book about it…maybe then they’ll get it.

  3. You see, the greatest fear of a teenager who is acting out… their greatest fear is that their actions will be misunderstood. At least that was my greatest fear as I pushed by body harder through the cold rain, running away from the people that loved me and the place I called home.

  4. Sometimes I feel misunderstood by my family, friends I just want to be myself without commitment without responsibility. I want to love who I love when I love them. Not when I’m available or not. I want to be me and I don’t want people understanding me on their own terms.

  5. Baby, do you understand me now,
Sometimes I feel a little mad,
But don’t you know that no one alive,
    Can always be an angel,
When things go wrong I seem to be bad,
But I’m just a soul whose intentions are good…
Oh Lord, please don’t let me be misunderstood!

  6. Many people are misunderstood. Many things are misunderstood. But what is understanding anyway besides an individuals perception or coming to terms with the world around us? We are all misunderstood. Misunderstanding is to be understood. If i’m understanding that correctly…
