  1. I feel as though most of the time I’m stuck in the middle. It feels as if I’m stuck; that I have no where to go and there is no route out of this rut that I’m in.

    Compare it for example to what it would feel like being the middle child.

I do not like to be in the middle of a lot of drama, and do not understand the point of being in the middle of any ones business. I think of of this is a bit ridiculously but it is not my call to be complaining about middle grade websites.

  13. Middle children can be problematic sometimes, or so the theory goes. Time magazine said that the “middle child syndrome” is a real phenomenon and that family structures do matter in shaping personalities. Middle children often feel caught in-between, like their identities are defined by siblings on either side. They can act out inappropriately in order to be noticed.

  24. I am concerned about my daughter. She is the middle child with an older brother and younger sister. She was the youngest for eight years and is not adjusting well. I worry she’ll grow up to be like me. That is not a happy thought since I have made a serious of bad decisions in my life. She is one of the good ones.

  40. amazingly enough, it was harder than i thought to sit down. the ladies i was stuck between had knees the size of basketballs, and the stewardess merely gave me a generic smile when she came by with her perky little drink car. i told my self when i booked the flight that i didn’t mind the middle really; it was my fault for booking so late to begin with. oh well… only an hour, right?
